Please update this as it is urgently needed and has been promised to be looked into/brought forth for years now.

How come it is 2020 and this issue is not resolved yet! Kindly prioritize this problem as we have tons of Scanned Arabic text to be OCRed :(

you ************* supports languages way down in the number of people using it, yet not even trying to support the number 4 wordwide if not 2 for more than 3 ******* years unacceptable

So Adobe, before stealing Arabic word الطوبة for your name, learn to do OCR and give respect to the origion of your name!

I cannot understand why Adobe does not have Arabic OCR features. You are missing a huge market. The estimated Arabic speaking population in the world is between 300 and 400 million. Other Middle Eastern languages that use right to left scripts such as Hebrew or Persian are available. The estimated Hebrew speaking population is between 5 and 8 million. The estimated Persian speaking population in the world is around 100 million. Is there any objective reason not to support Arabic OCR?

Just use tessearct for Arabic OCR.

I am waiting for this Arabic OCR feature; how about a update or add-on for that instead of a whole version
