Horizontal scroll mouse
Can't scroll horizontally with apple mouse with scroll button. Have to keep manually going to bottom bar to scroll and often have window bottom out of view when I'm editing from PDF to other documentl

I have the same issue. I'm using Rapoo mouse with a horizontal scroller and works perfectly with Chrome and Excel, but I can't get it working with Adobe PDF. I really hope this feature would be added.

scroll wheel + shift key should result in horizontal scrolling

I'm Nthing this. Shift and scroll wheel for horizontal scrolling works on every other macOS app. It's jarring having to instead hold the space bar and drag as an inferior workaround. I would massively appreciate it if this were fixed, since Acrobat is a top contender for the best PDF reader I can find, and I am going to be reading an insane number of PDFs.

I will third it, as the lack of horizontal scrolling is severely impairing my work flow. I guarantee that anyone who works with scanned documents on a split-screen setup has the same problem.
The fact that it's much easier to open the pdf in chrome (for example) than leaving a comment is no reason for Acrobat Reader DC to be missing this feature.

I second this— in every other file reader, you can hold shift and it allows you to scroll horizontally. this should be a basic feature of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I'm not using an apple mouse, using a logi bluetooth mouse. but I have no issues otherwise in other readers, or in Google Docs/Sheets, Apple's Preview, etc.
