Page/Bookmark Panes
Option to keep page and bookmark navigation panes open. I use them everyday. Every single time I open/create a new pdf, I have to open panes. Haven't found a way to keep them open if it exists.

I believe LHP must mean Left Hand Panel.

I have no idea what "LHP" means, but after a couple of attempts, I found the menu to pin the panel and it seems to be working. Thank you!

Hi,
With Acrobat Continuous Build, we support keeping any Navigation pane pinned, i.e. to open by default for all the documents in the LHP.
This is how you can try this out:
1) Launch any PDF and Expand the Panel that you want the acrobat to open by default for every document(For Ex. Page Thumbnails)
2) Right click on the LHP Navigation strip , Select the option from the context menu "Pin Page thumbnails" .
3) now try out by launching any other pdf -> You will observe that the Page thumbnails panel would appear expanded by default on launch(If document does not have any other document specific preference )
Refer here for more info on this https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/whats-new.html -> "Retain the last LHP state across Acrobat launches"
Let me know for any other Ask in this.
Thanks

It would be extremely convenient to my workflow if there were a sort of an override option to always have the Pages panel open in every document even if the document itself had not been opened before on that computer. As it is, it seems the open/closed state of the Pages sidebar is actually embedded in a PDF and has nothing to do with Acrobat itself. This feature is needed because, well, if I need it, odds are other people could really use this very small tweak as well.
