How do I make Adobe the default program to open documents - using iMac Sierra 10.12.5
I was using a different program as the default program to open documents but I don't like it so I want to go back to Adobe but I can't figure out how to change it, it doesn't give me the option to make it the default program even though I deleted the other program, now it defaults to Preview.

I am encountering the exact same issue. I want it to default to adobe acrobat when opening pdf documents. How do I set that on my Mac?
