Superscript styling not retained when using Comment to mark-up a PDF
I have recently upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. For my work, I need to mark-up PDFs using Comment tools. When I style some text as superscript using either the feature available in the box that appears when I right click or the shortcut ctrl/shift/+ and then close the pop-up box the styling becomes subscript instead of superscript. I used Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 for a long time and didn't have any problems. It is very frustrating that this doesn't work properly in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, especially as 'superscript' is offered as a feature in Comments

This issue still persists in the latest version — Acrobat DC 21.7.20099.454979.
This happens especially after "clear formatting" has been applied to the comment text. See the conversation at https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/anyone-have-an-issue-with-superscript-automatically-changing-to-subscript-in-comments/td-p/9409249 -

Hi Rohit
I am using: Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2017 Release (Continuous) / Version 2017.012.20093.
I use Comment/Selection tool for text and images (i.e. the upward-pointing arrow on the tool bar).
The superscript retains the styling if I use a text box, but not if I type over some text as a Comment (blue mark-up).
I contacted chatsupport on 4 August and demonstrated the problem to one of your colleagues.
Thanks.
Lindsey
