Yes, Ayush, this is exactly when it happens. Whenever the Tags panel has been used or accessed, then the Save process always hangs Acrobat's interface to eventually non-responsive. The document fully saves, but the application hangs or freezes.

i believe the issue with the Hang after you Save any pdf is observed only if you have the tags panel opened while saving or if you had the Tags panel opened before for that pdf even when Tags is not the actove pane currently.

We have reported this to your engineering team and i will get back to you with the fix/workaround for that shortly.

Are you facing this issue of not able to save with every file or is it something specific to some files. ? Can you share a sample file with me with which you are facing this issue ?

ACROBAT DC: THERE WAS A mention OF “FORCE QUIT” using in acrobat DC. Can anyone tell me what command to use to force quit (I have windows 10)?
AlSO i note i get the option to HIDE (when the pdf is hanging )which i frequently use in windows 10 [&formerly in win 7 & Acrobat X AND THE FILE IS FREQUENTLY EVENTUALLY SAVED- WHAT IS HAPPENING?

After making changes to my PDF File, It does not allow to to save.. I have created it from a scan, able to save but if I attempt to make it a form a blank save as box appears with nothing inside the box except Save As and the close X in the upper right

One more thing about this hanging while saving the file.
If we have worked in the Tags panel, by say, tagging annotations (like links), and then we change the view of the left panel to something else, such as the Bookmarks, it will still hang while saving. Isn’t that curious?

If I collapse the Tags list, but still have the Tags panel elected/open, the save still hangs.

My further exploration on this hang does confirm that it is when the Tags panel is showing that this hanging occurs.
I can have the Page thumbnails panel showing, the Bookmarks panel showing, the Order panel showing, and these all allow a complete and quick save. But when I have the Tags panel showing, then it hangs.
When I select say, the Bookmarks panel, then collapse the panels, then save, it does not hang.
When I select the Tags panel, then collapse the panels, the save hangs.

Thanks for Reporting your concerns to us and apologies for the issue that you are facing here.
Can you please confirm me, that whenever you are doing the Save operation on any pdf in Acrobat, by any change do you have any of the Left hand Panel (like Tags, Thumbnails, Bookmarks etc. ) Expanded ?

If yes, Can you please check once without expanding the Left hand panel for any pdf and then try to save and check if issue persists.

Also Please let me know the Left hand Panel Name which is expanded in the pdf.

We will surely look into the concern reported by you.
