Bug: Save as not working: "The File may be read-only, or another user may have it open.
Unable to "save-as," export, or e-sign a PDF document.
Error message when trying to export as another PDF file type, or as another PDF with normal "save as":
"The File may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder."
I am using Acrobat 9 Pro on a Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6.

I continuously have the same problem. When I attempt to save a scanned file from my TR7020, I get the error message, "The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder"
I using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 2021.007.20099 with macOS Big Sur version 11.6.
Is there some way to correct this?

What information do you need?

Not all files seem to exhibit the behavior.

I have not identified the common factor among the files. In some cases I am merely saving a Word Document to PDF, inserting a few pages and signing the document. In others, as stated above, I will be working on adding comments to a file and when I try to save I find it locked.

I Cannot save a file I am working on, though Windows shows it is read/write and not open by another user. I have two windows open with different files in each, so I have to close out of adobe and reopen all windows for Adobe to release the file so I can then reopen it, make my comments again, and resave it.

Does this happen with every file that you are trying to work on or is it file specific?
If it is file specific, probably some application has locked it for use, please check that.
