A way to quickly identify layer of an object
For example, the STAIR 2 symbol, what layer it belongs to? For now, the only way to know this is turning layers off, one at a time, until STAIR 2 note disappears. It's a bit time-consuming, especially when there are hundreds of layers. Is it possible to know the layer name just by pointing/clicking at any object? Or any other practical way?

This is a highly useful feature. Especially for companies that work with different contractors. CAD files have multiple layers and not everyone uses the same notation for their layering. To be able to identify the layers in the document itself would be highly useful.

This would really be an excellent feature & i have no idea why it was denied!
Sometimes i get a PDF with 200 layers & i waste an hour just to figure out which object belong to which layer. There should be an option to turn on layer identification on object hover - just a small comment pop-up.
