Internal links in an Excel workbook do not work if converted to Adobe PDF File
Adobe DC Pro stopped converting internal links (links from one worksheet to another within an Excel workbook) either in late December or early January 2018. However, links to external web locations such as http://www.cnn.com in Excel continue to work once the file is converted to Adobe PDF. I recommend you test that issue on your own computer. Open an Excel file with two tabs; Sheet1 and Sheet2. Create a hyperlink from Sheet1 to Sheet2 and a hyperlink from Sheet2 to Sheet1 and then convert the Excel file to Adobe Acrobat using the Acrobat Menu in Excel. You will realize that once the Excel file is converted to Adobe Acrobat, the hyperlinks no longer work! This is a critical issue for my company as we send our clients hyperlinked Excel spreadsheets that have been converted to PDF every month.
Hi
Thanks for reporting the issue. This is an issue with Microsoft Office and cannot be resolved from Acrobat’s end.
Please reach out to Microsoft forums for further support.
Thanks

A workaround that keeps the links is to open the file in LibreOffice Calc and then use the Export as PDF in the file menu. Print ranges are set in the Format menu.
