It's stunning that Acrobat Pro still can't count the number of words in a PDF. Perhaps there's some sort of economic reason why this very basic function hasn't been added.

Absolutely agree that word count needs to be a tool in Acrobat Pro DC. It's hard to believe it isn't already there.

Given the many tools available in Acrobat Pro DC, it is ridiculous that a simple word count is not a standard feature. Having to save the doc in Word or rtf and then use another program to read it is an annoying waste of time. PLEASE add this feature!
