Export to excel typically does not work
The step in the export process in which the tool presents the options related to locations for saving the exported file has a blank screen that never completes the process.

Thank you for the information. We need some more information for this issue. Please provide the following information:
1. Acrobat Version -
Go to help -> About Acrobat ... and take a screenshot
2. Operating system (Mac/Win) and its version
3. Exact steps to reproduce the issue.

I did post a screenshot - I repeated this process of clicking on export and then clicking on excel and the popup box of white sits for over a minute, then on the last time, the blue circle came up and it stayed for over a minute, spinning. It was at this point I took the screenshot (attached again). After sending the message the option showed up to select where the exported pdf would be stored. In all, it probably took 3 minutes to get to that point. The next time I tried it the entire cycle took under a minute. I think adobe on my computer has a very long cycle up time, the first time I try to use it. Most times i just give up and this was the first time I waited, which I did because I was trying to get a screenshot for this bug report.
