Forms created using Prepare A Form Tool Don't Work Anymore after HOURS of work
I, like many other users whose posts I have read, absolutely hate the new Send for Signatures functionality. I had my agreements and information gathering forms all set up using the Prepare A Form tool. Before, when I opened the document, it worked perfectly and all I had to do was enter a recipient, attach multiple docs and click Send. It was wonderful! NOW--all my forms' prepared fields have been overwritten!! In the new version EVERY field is defaulted to the signer, radio buttons are converted to text fields or deleted entirely and multiple fields are the wrong data type or deleted also. Even when I revert back to the Legacy Version, the damage is done. I still have to reformat most every field because almost all of the fields in my agreement were assigned to Prefill. I HATE this!! I was so frustrated to send out 2 agreements to new clients last week because what should have taken me a total of 10 minutes took me TWO HOURS. I had to learn how in the world the new version was treating my fields, then I finally found the legacy link, only to realize I STILL had to REDO everything I had worked hours on to setup 2 years ago!! When I was done, I saved it as a template thinking I would be able to use the updated fields. WRONG!!!! I had to send out the form to 2 different clients today and guess what?!?! The 'template' I saved last week after redoing the whole document DID NOT SAVE THE CHANGES I MADE. It still just reverted to WHATEVER fields this new AI version decides to do! I'm so angry and frustrated! I absolutely REFUSE to reassign all the fields in these forms again. I will be switching software if Adobe has not corrected this ridiculousness by the next time I have to send any form I had already created with the Prepare A Form tool. Also, WHY EVEN HAVE THAT TOOL anymore if you wreck the flow-through SO BADLY?!?

Hi,
Thanks for the valuable feedback. We are sorry to hear that it is not working for you. We would greatly appreciated if you can provide us the file (sample file will be good enough with some fields created using 'Prepare Form' Tool) and the steps you have done afterwards to send the agreement.
Please do let us know the Acrobat version you are using. Also, there is a setting under "Adobe Online Services" in Acrobat Preferences that lets users revert to classic request signature experience.
