Option to hide the floating toolbar
Who at Adobe thought that it would be a good idea to have a floating toolbar that the user cannot dock, cannot flip horizontally, and, critically, cannot choose to hide? It blocks readable document content and is very annoying.
Please create the option to hide the floating toolbar.

Almost a year and a half later and the floating toolbar is still there! Adobe is completely distracted with all the AI **** and is paying absolutely no attention to its users at all. There's endless forums complaining about this, numerous suggestions here, and there were plenty of questions in the official Adobe forum.
NO ONE wants this stupid thing in their way. I agree with OP. Who on earth thought this was a good idea?!
At least allow us to dock it in the top or right-side toolbar.
And whatever ill person posted below that said it was going to be pushed up for consideration, saying they did this because a few users might have asked for it, since when do you make an unchangeable update like that for every single other user? All the other Adobe apps allow you to dock your toolbars. How was that not the standard and the first place your mind went?!

This is the worst, it blocks the content and I spend so much time moving it around. Put it back at the top. Also please make the highlight button actually highlight without me needing to pick if I want highlight, underline or strikethrough. This should be three buttons and also continous. Or at LEAST add a keystroke shortcut so I don't need to make four clicks to highlight one sentence.

I agree, this is extremely annoying. I'm constantly having to move it out the way. I would like to dock it next to the pulldown menus. It takes unnecessary space.

Hi Viktor, thanks for your feedback, in the v1 of new interface, the toolbar had a fixed location and after receiving the feedback from various users, me made it draggable/floating to add to a flexibility to position it any where in the document.
I will note your suggestion as well to hide the floating toolbar and will add it to the product backlog.

Yes yes yes. Adobe, please do not wait. Change it today. PLEASE!
Also, thanks, Viktor, for posting because this exactly is what I came on to request, and I was a little bummed to see 1600 ideas-- thinking I would have to scroll through them all to confirm whether or not it was already proposed. But thankfully yours was near the top.I wonder, though, if there are any duplicates-- and whether Adobe looks for and has a way to account for that? Not sure if I missed that in directions. "plz/thx"
