mockups
Hey, so I’ve been trying to figure out how to create UI mockups, but it’s a bit overwhelming. What’s the best way to get started with creating UI mockups from scratch? Like, do I need to start with sketches, wireframes, or can I jump straight into something more polished? I’ve heard there are all these tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD, but I’m not sure where to begin or which one is best for beginners. Also, how detailed should a mockup really be? Should I focus on colors, fonts, and images right away, or is it more about the layout and functionality at first? Would love some advice from anyone who's gone through this process!

Starting with sketches or wireframes https://clay.global/blog/ux-guide/ux-mockup is the best move to help you focus on the layout and functionality without getting bogged down in the details. Tools such as Figma or Adobe XD are great for beginners; Figma is especially good because it's free and collaborative. Keep the first mockups simple - focus on the structure and then add colors, fonts, and images later. Small steps make a website much less overwhelming!
