Actually let me disable the "AI" "assistant"
Please for the love of all that is sacred let me fully disable the "AI" "Assistant". It is neither AI, nor an assistant. It is not a useful feature to "generate a summary" of an invoice. It is not able to - in ANY way - generate a meaningful summary of a whitepaper that provides any more value than the author's abstract. And it most certainly cannot make light of a technical standard that I have to understand clause-for-clause in order to implement.
The "disable" option in Preferences does not actually seem to disable it and every 3rd time I open the app the option has either unticked itself or the "AI" "assistant" has ignored it and appeared anyway, resulting in the application running slower than ever and having multiple clutter windows that I have to immediately close to see the document I want.
"AI" is a fad and will be tidied away soon, so please be the frontrunner in this regard.
Yes, the quotation marks are fully intended as saracastic intonation.

I have attempted to remove and at least disable A.I. on all of my computers... Now I have to put up with the obtrusive Bloat-ware you consider A.I. I will find another vendor to utilize in reading and handling PDF files and delete Acrobat from my computer if I am unable to stop the so called A.I. feature in Acrobat. Cease and Desist!!! I don't mind if you go out of business, because I will use a second substitute for PDF file management/use and ensure that all of my business associates and customers know of my choice. A.I. is intrusive and unable to read and understand technical documents.

I took the time to sign in for the first time and to write this comment and I am busy as **** right now.
I simply wanted to say that the AI "Assistant" covering up the entire document is completely useless ... It doesn't work, I ask it to simply put my name on a field in the document and it CANT? You know what? Claude can. Gemini can. GPT can. Adobe is a CANT company?
And besides it slows everything down and takes up space and is just GARBAGE. Remove it until you can do something worthwhile ... At this rate, I'll uninstall all of Adobe and go somewhere else that has FAST tools. I'm BUSY!!! Don't annoy me!!!

When my friends invited me to go fishing overnight, the first thing I thought about was not the gear, but safety. Everything can be unpredictable on the water. I ordered a foam life jacket at https://gaelixmarineservice.com/safety/foam-lifejackets/ and was pleased. It fits snugly, but does not interfere with movement. I tested it in practice - it holds you steadily in the water, even if you completely relax. It's funny, but after a couple of hours I stopped noticing it at all. So if someone thinks that a life jacket is uncomfortable, they are very wrong.

Lots of users are frustrated by Acrobat’s “AI Assistant” not being truly optional. In that same spirit, imagine an https://wellness-app.com/ that gives you full control - disable features you don’t use, tailor reminders, and manage alerts so they fit your routine. Just like how people want Acrobat’s assistant to stay out of the way unless needed, a fasting app should empower users without distraction. Clean interface, minimal pop‑ups, customizable settings - that’s what makes tools truly helpful, rather than annoying.

I once spent a long train ride across Western Australia looking for something to keep me busy on my phone, and stumbled on pokies. I’d already tried a few apps, but none of them felt exciting enough. Then, while scrolling online, I came across https://onlinepokies-au.com and got hooked on the variety of games they offered. What surprised me was how smooth the gameplay felt, even when I had patchy reception crossing the Nullarbor. I managed to get a few nice wins that easily covered my trip snacks, and that made the ride much more fun.

Totally valid frustration, if a feature can’t be fully disabled, it stops being “helpful” and starts being intrusive. Giving users true control over toggling AI tools would make the app faster, cleaner, and more trustworthy.

Interesting thought! Disabling the “AI assistant” aspect would really depend on what you’re using it for. Sometimes the guidance is helpful, but I get how too much automation can feel limiting. Having more control over when and how the AI steps in could definitely make the experience feel more natural and user-driven. http://look.tm/

I get it — when an “assistant” fails to add real value to detailed, clause-by-clause work, it feels like more of a hindrance than a help. When that happens, I like to step away for a short break and play a few quick rounds on https://spin-mama.fr/bonus, which offers special bonuses for players from France. It’s just enough to reset my focus so I can come back to the task with fresh energy and a bit more patience.
