  1. It would be very useful for students to be able to create flashcards from a PDF. There is this option in the Kindle App for books, and it is quite useful.

  3. I have moved my files around from Adobe Pro, Reader, online access etc.

There is a coding issue where the sticky notes do not integrate correctly.
Not sure where the bug is but as illustrated in the snip below, my file saved to the cloud has 2 different types of notes.
When one hovers over the upper the text of the note is not automatically enlarged.

  4. Why oh why? Why Acrobat are you relying on Apple Colour Picker?

Adobe makes some of the advanced Graphics editing software in the world.

Please improve the colour picker for Acrobat. Just add the Photoshop or Indesign or Illustrator or..... Aftereffects...... or maybe even premiere colour picker to acrobat.

Right now on a mac I get forced to open the apple rectangle properties box, that then forces me to open an apple colour picker dialog box.

And I can't just hit enter to close it I actually have to go click on the tiny little Apple picker X to close…

  5. As customers purchased or subscribed to Adobe products/services, may not use it immediately upon purchased, it may carry on to certain of time then may use it. When customers tried to access then come to all these kind of issues.

I think Adobe should simplify more on accounts and products purchase processes with comprehensive information in near future to reduce this kind of confusion to customers.

    Thank you.

  6. Hi there
I got an Issue, where when opening the Comment-Tool not all Comments where visible. First I had to scroll through all pages to get them in the overview. This issue stays even if the comments got the check and the document is closed and opened again.

Attached you find the file with the Error.

Environment: macOS 11.4, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC V 2021.005.20058.

Fix this issue as soon as possible. otherwise this overview is not reliable

  7. When creating a new sticky note, it is either created on the previous or on the next page, but not on the page I wanted to create it. Please fix this issue asap, because I need a reliable pdf-application for work, otherwise I meed night to look for alternatives after years of satisfactory work with AAR.

  8. Since I work one copy I like to mark my redactions and when complete I save a copy to apply the redactions and then I remove all the redactions to have a clean copy. I may not want to remove all comments, just the redaction boxes

I do this so if I remove pages I don't have to do so on multiple copies and try to keep track of where I am.

  9. For the last two weeks or since the last "visible" Acrobat Pro update, the Comment Set Status flyouts don't show up at all (but sometimes they do). Turning on the check box in the app preferences does not "wake up" the feature (an idea of mine that did not work ...besides, trying to toggle the check box is also dead). I had posted this problem here already (see below) but the Admin, Arvind, marked it "solved" because I told him it was... but it was not.

    https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/44150748-set-status-dead-after-latest-update

This issue seems to show up intermittently; sometimes, it resolves itself after relaunching…

  10. When a commenter receives activity or feedback on a comment, an option for notifications should be available. The commenter should be emailed on the activity. This saves time from having to use email to discuss simple matters, and an assurance that all parties are acknowledged.

  12. Hello,

When deleting comments in a PDF-document in Adobe Acrobat Pro, the comments themselves are indeed removed, but if these comments were once accepted or rejected, this information stays around in the PDF document. Adobe Acrobat Pro know to ignore it and doesn't show it, but when opening that document on iOS for example, that information is still shown as some sort of comment, which is impossible to find (and thus remove) in Adobe Acrobat, because Adobe ignores these.

This is highly undesirable. Can this be fixed please?

    Thank you,
    Best regards,
    Jeroen

  13. The new themes available are very distracting for commenting on documents. Please allow us to revert to something more closely resembling the Acrobat XI theme, or at least allow for something between the Light Gray and Dark Gray display themes, so attention can be more focused on the page instead of the tools. Also please allow the comment sidebar to be made more narrow, as it takes up about 1/3 of a view when viewing two files on a single screen.

  14. For a PDF with 50+ review comments it would be nice to have a shortcut for changing the status to 'Complete', instead of right clicking every boks. Same for the new 'share for review' feature.

  16. I had started adding comments to a long form document in Acrobat DC on Windows desktop and saved the document to my Document Cloud. Everything appeared to have synced.

Later, I accessed the same document on my Chromebook using the Acrobat app (logged into my account). The comments WERE synced and I proceeded as expected, and added more comments.

Another day, I reopened the document back on my Windows desktop machine and I believe all of the comments thus far had been synced. I proceeded through the document and continued adding more comments. Each time the document was saved, it…

  17. This topic shows as resolved but it isn't (for years now...)

PLEASE Don't make the user go through a menu to check off a comment! You DOUBLE the time it takes to go through comments.
PLEASE ELIMINATE the need to go through a dropdown menu just to check off a comment.

IT WAS FINE to have a checkbox. It took HALF THE TIME.

  18. Currently, highlighted text only shows up as "highlighted text" in the comments. Instead, show the text that was highlighted.

  19. Dear Adobe, my organization extensively uses commenting features on PDFs but occasionally the way that text is recognized creates problems for highlighting and text selection; in particular, a common failure mode is to try to highlight a sentence but then text above and below it is also selected as if the text is actually organized as a column.

Notwithstanding the underlying issue, this and other occasions mean that it would sometimes be more useful to be able to use the freeform "marker" style highlighter (with the circular cursor outline instead of the text selector style) regardless of the state of…
