  5. OS: Windows10
Version: Acrobat DC continuous Release 2020.013.20074 (ja_JP)

    Step to reproduce.
    1. Switch to the annotation tool and select the text on the PDF.
    2. Start typing from the keyboard and enter the correction details to open a window and display the input details. Click Text Properties and specify a superscript for the text in the window.
    3. When we press the post button, it will be reflected in the list of annotations, but the superscript part will change to subscript.

This bug exists only on Windows. Superscripts are reflected normally on macOS.

    Expected result
    Superscripts are displayed normally…

  6. Highlights are currently rounded at the edges, which makes it difficult for editors and compositors to tell whether the highlight applies to surrounding punctuation, spaces, and other narrow characters. Additionally, the blue boxes that appear around the highlights when they are clicked on often extend past the text that was actually selected, which can cause further confusion for those who need to edit things precisely.

Straight edges on highlights would allow for a clearer and more accurate view of what is being commented on. Please make this is an option in the Commenting preferences.

  7. I have some PDFs that I'd like to be able to draw on, either feedback on work for students or filling in templates. The pencil tool currently available doesn't do this smoothly (view screencapture example https://youtu.be/gr8UZYddzBo ). I'd like to be able to draw/write freehand like I can on a powerpoint presentation, so I can send notes and feedback to my students more easily.

  8. (Windows 10)
When we exchange layout PDFs with our clients, they send us the PDF back with comments. It would be really helpful if you could insert screenshots via copy/paste into the comment box.

  9. Please enable zooming and scrolling while using commenting tools like the "connected lines" tool. I often have to trace lines on a schematic and it is REALLY difficult to do without being able to zoom or scroll using control / shift plus the mouse wheel.

Really this should be enabled when using any commenting tool but it's especially problematic with the connected lines tool.

  11. In the commenting mode for Acrobat DC Pro, there are "strikethrough", "replace", and "insert text" tools, among others.

When I select and copy some text (for example, to count the words or rephrase it in another window), it copies the original text and disregards anything crossed out or inserted. This means I have to re-do all the changes by hand.

It would be great if one could copy the text in a way that incorporates the changes, similar to how you can opt to copy text with or without formatting, in some programs.

  13. It used to be that the comment filter would continuously update. You ruined that feature two years ago. I am waiting for you to put it back. Dealing with hundreds of comments is now clunky and painful.

  14. Please. Get rid of the text formatting covering up the active text box that's being typed into. This drives me insane, and happens nearly every time I'm commenting on a PDF. Please see attached image. The text box I'm typing in is totally covered by the formatting box.

All one has to do to reproduce is to add a text box and move it towards the top of the screen.

I have Windows 10, using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015.006.30482.

I want the formatting box to never cover the text box I am typing in.

  15. Opening the Change color drawing tool when a line is selected should switch to Borders as Fills color does nothing for a line. Better yet, show both border and line color options in one window instead of requiring switching tabs.

  16. The mouse cursors that show when resizing a text callout are opposite.
    i.e.
Vertical resize cursor shows instead of horizontal and vice versa
NE-SW resize cursor shows instead of NW-SE and vice versa

  17. When using comments it would be great to be able to turn off and on the date and time stamp feature instead of the unchangeable default of the date and time stamp always being on.

  18. I downloaded Adobe Acrobat Standard DC and 'stuff' in my computer no longer worked as before. I uninstalled the program until I needed it again.
This iteration of an editing of PDF's is so foreign to what I used a few years ago without going online, in iCloud, in an APP blah, blah, blah that I will never purchase this program again. I will go to a professional editor to help me! I'm not a techi and don't even understand some of the wording in your instructions. I came before to Adobe to get superior editing, moving around file, pages…

  19. Hello,
    2 request from me:
    1) is it possible the create a own colortoolbar, i use different colors in my documents and i have to switch many times to the properties. A own created colorbar would be nice and helpfull.
    2) I use in my acrobat pro dc a 3 party applkication from evermap, it is to create multiple hyperlinks at ones. Verry helpfull for 1000 of pages. Could you build this also in the program. I now there is a function hyperlink, but this works so easy and smooth. I think every person would be helped with this option.

  20. Bug report:

Dark-coloured text copied and pasted into a comment, i.e., in an 'Add note to replace text' comment, is not legible in dark mode. It appears as dark grey against the dark grey background.
