  1. Please. Get rid of the text formatting covering up the active text box that's being typed into. This drives me insane, and happens nearly every time I'm commenting on a PDF. Please see attached image. The text box I'm typing in is totally covered by the formatting box.

All one has to do to reproduce is to add a text box and move it towards the top of the screen.

I have Windows 10, using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015.006.30482.

I want the formatting box to never cover the text box I am typing in.

  2. Opening the Change color drawing tool when a line is selected should switch to Borders as Fills color does nothing for a line. Better yet, show both border and line color options in one window instead of requiring switching tabs.

  3. The mouse cursors that show when resizing a text callout are opposite.
    i.e.
Vertical resize cursor shows instead of horizontal and vice versa
NE-SW resize cursor shows instead of NW-SE and vice versa

  4. When using comments it would be great to be able to turn off and on the date and time stamp feature instead of the unchangeable default of the date and time stamp always being on.

  5. I downloaded Adobe Acrobat Standard DC and 'stuff' in my computer no longer worked as before. I uninstalled the program until I needed it again.
This iteration of an editing of PDF's is so foreign to what I used a few years ago without going online, in iCloud, in an APP blah, blah, blah that I will never purchase this program again. I will go to a professional editor to help me! I'm not a techi and don't even understand some of the wording in your instructions. I came before to Adobe to get superior editing, moving around file, pages…

  6. Hello,
    2 request from me:
    1) is it possible the create a own colortoolbar, i use different colors in my documents and i have to switch many times to the properties. A own created colorbar would be nice and helpfull.
    2) I use in my acrobat pro dc a 3 party applkication from evermap, it is to create multiple hyperlinks at ones. Verry helpfull for 1000 of pages. Could you build this also in the program. I now there is a function hyperlink, but this works so easy and smooth. I think every person would be helped with this option.

  7. Bug report:

Dark-coloured text copied and pasted into a comment, i.e., in an 'Add note to replace text' comment, is not legible in dark mode. It appears as dark grey against the dark grey background.

  8. Two files open in Shared Review, two crashes in an hour. First crash launched an error message and crash report. This time, I've been stuck on a blue spinning wheel and (Not Responding) for twenty minutes.

  9. Cloud commenting from Acrobat and InDesign is an amazing idea but it feels hobbled without the insert text at cursor tool, particularly for reviewing text heavy documents. Please consider expanding the commenting functions available to cloud reviewers.

  11. Cannot change fill color to transparent ("no color") using the new tools.
Only way to do it is to go into the properties via right click or Ctrl+E.

  12. I have been using Adobe products for Graphic Design and Publishing work for many years, and for most of it my co-workers and I have stuck to paper printouts and pencils for markup. Now that we're all working from home, we're relying on Acrobat and PDF markup tools and I'm so frustrated by how unintuitive this program is, compared with InDesign, which I use on a daily basis. I am used to switching from one tool to another with keystrokes that are deep in muscle memory, and I can use them in one way or another when I open Photoshop.…

  13. When using the pen, allow the user to scroll, etc, by using a finger touch. At the very least, make scrolling with a two finger touch possible. Otherwise, you need to keep switching tools when reading through and commenting on the PDF.

  14. Individual, multiple text highlights are created one after another and some can become automatically grouped, making it impossible to go back and delete just one of the highlights. Please offer the option to ungroup the highlights.

  15. A file may have many types of comments, many colors, many authors, etc. If one wants to hide only one variety (e.g., the color red), one has to select all but the red dot and then press the Apply button for the filtered selections.
This would be simpler if one could select only the red dot and press a new Exclude button/function. Further, Apply and Exclude could be combined to mimic an electrical (ON | OFF) switch.

For very large files with many comments, filtering consumes a lot of time. For shared files on servers, the time is magnified by…

  16. The highlighter opacity setting only applies to text highlight, and has no effect on image/freehand highlight (which appears to be equivalent to "100% opacity" setting (not actually 100% as you can see through it - which is ok).

  18. Hi, I copy paste here a conversation I had yesterday with one of your help service agent (chat). It makes it quicker than re-writing everything. In summary, the automatic file saving failed on me. Indeed, when Adobe Acrobat DC software crashed, I had to close it and when reopening it, it said unable to reopen 3 of the files. I was not too worried since I had saved the most important doc under a new name one hour or so before and would have to redo just a few revision comments. But to my surprise, when I opened it, although…

  19. Adobe acrobat and indesign, without flash player, are not so powerful and as attractive as before. Everything looks so plain and regular, animation and rich media oftentimes aren't working properly or worked at all. It's the opposite of progress.
