can't copy links
With this new version of Acrobat (v2023.006.20360 | 64-bit), I no longer be able to copy, in edit mode, all links from a .pdf document to another .pdf document.
How can I copy all the links to another document without doing it one by one?1 vote -
Maths symbols problem
Complex formulas are typed up in Latex for maths research and PDFs are created. We do some editing in Adobe Acrobat Pro afterwards to the PDFs. This was working fine until a few months ago.
Symbols started randomly disappearing from PDFs. The same symbol in the same article disappears in some cases but doesn't in others. We have tried fixing the font problem in case some fonts are not on our version. We never know which documents will have a problem and which ones won’t. It’s random and mysterious.
It's not a simple case of missing fonts or outdated fonts…

Bring text to front
At the moment, I'm trying to mark an X in a box on a form. But, the letter keeps being hidden behind the box. I am trying to bring the letter to the front. Or send the images to the back. But, it's not working. And, in Googling for a solution, I have found complaints on this very topic dating back to at least 2010 (and continuing year after year after year...!) To be clear, if I play around with this particular form, I can find a work around. And I'm guessing I'll find a work around next time, too.…

Watermark font options only have 'Symbol'
When I try to add a watermark, I can't seem to change the text font to anything but 'Symbol'. I used to be able to have 'Arial' but this is all gone.

Replace pages - maintains previous pages - memory issue
Replace Pages - conflict with replacing old pages with newly revised pages. The following has happened now on more than three occasions: It first must be stated, that I have a number of reports and supplemental documents that need to be combined as one document file; which is the protocol of a particular County Government agency.

We are currently using the latest version of Adobe Reader but cannot find the line layer command. Also, when we open more than one PDF, switching between tabs becomes very bad. I request your help regarding this issue.The attached image belongs to the previous version. Kind regards

PDF still opens on original first page after reorganising pages
After the page order in a pdf has been altered, the pdf keeps opening on what was originally the first page, even if that page has for example become page 5. It should just open on page 1.

Editing Panel has no properties on it - it is blank
Ever since the new update/release came out of Adobe Acrobat Pro, when I click "edit," none of the properties show up in the panel where they are supposed to be displayed. Ugh.

Date Created is not retained when editing PDF
On Mac at least, any save to a PDF deletes the old file and writes a new one, rather than overwriting the old file. This means that metadata such as the Date Created is lost -- it's important for me to know when certain files were received, but then also to run OCR, add comments, or make other edits to the files. This breaks the standard Mac user interface and is only done by Acrobat (not Word, Preview, TextEdit, etc.)

Unable to define width of new text box using "add text" feature in edit.
Adobe has just been updated on my computer.
Examples uploaded of what is happening now, and what I used to be able to do. I have hidden confidential information, apologies for this.
I used to be able to draw a text box to make it of a certain width before I started typing, and as I would type the text box would expand downwards as needed. Then if I needed to I could adjust the width afterwards as well.

The View - New Acrobat experience breaks Edit - Add Text
The New Acrobat Pro experience has broken the Edit - Add Text feature.
In the old experience, if one clicked on the "Edit" icon then all existing objects such as text boxes would be shown and one could edit text inside them. If one clicked on the "Add Text" icon then those existing objects would no longer show their boxes nor be editable so one could position the cursor over such a box and add text which would create a new text box. I have a PDF that I have to add text that needs to be slightly edited for each form. I have to open the text in Word, make the changes and then block, copy and paste it into my form. Why can't we insert a standard text box in the way of autotext in Word.?
