  1. Highlighter has changed on me this week - it blocks text out as tho it is on top of the text. not behind. I cannot find a setting to fix this. Lowering the opacity only makes the colour more faded, and the text is washed out. This was not like this 1-2 weeks ago. please fix ASAP - I use this tool everyday.

  2. Hi! It would be amazing to the workflow if you could add the option to set specific keybinds to change the hightlight text color before actually take the action or using the mouse to manually select the color you want.

For example: I'm using "green" as standard color but as i'm reading i decide that for that line of text i would rather choose "red" cause it is important. I would love to have the option to press -for example- "1" and automatically change the hightlight color to "red".

    Thank you for your time!

  3. A function to split a multiple page PDF into custom number of pages. I.E. when doing a batch job of quarterly reports where multiple reports are generated at the same time in one PDF, to have the option to split every 2 pages then every 3 pages then every 4 pages. Instead of only being able to split by one specific number of pages.

  4. I only have the option to save. Where's the save as? There's no 'file' drop down menu. I only see Home and Tools. And underneath this there's a save button, but I want a save as button.

  7. I sometimes receive pdfs consisting of multiple different invoices, which I then need to split apart. The only options I can see appear to split the file into groups of, say, three pages, or ten pages, or single pages, or whatever number I specify. But that's not what I need to do. For instance, I might have a 35 page pdf that includes eight different invoices. The first is three pages, the second is five pages, then there are three of one page each, and one of six pages, and so on.

In the "Organize Pages" window if I click…

  11. I need to redact driver's license numbers from about 1200 PDF pages in Acrobat DC. There is no redaction pattern for driver's license numbers. I found tutorials on how to add custom redaction patterns. I created an updated version of the program's "SearchRedactPatterns" xml. I uploaded the updated version to replace the xml that was already there using a file path shown in multiple tutorials. There are no error messages associated with the new xml and I see no syntax errors in the coding that would prevent it from working. But the new custom pattern does not display in the…

  12. The comments panel in adobe acrobat lists a page number and the comments on that page such that users can quickly navigate to that comment. The page numbers referenced in this panel are in sequential order and do not respect the "Page Labels" applied to a document. This should be corrected to reference the page label even if the labels are applied to a document after the comment was created.

  15. When you create a PDF Portfolio, you're basically bringing in multiple files into one location, correct?

It would be great if the portfolio automatically updated when one of its' linked files was updated.

For instance, let's say I made a Portfolio of 12 different PDFs. I make an edit to one of those individual PDFs. The next time I open the portfolio, Acrobat automatically updates the portfolio with the updated PDF.

Short of that, it would be nice to be alerted that one of the PDFs (or whichever file types are used) has been updated and you can click to…

  16. In Acrobat DC for Mac version 22.002.20191, after I use 'text' to write in a PDF, I can no longer highlight the preexisting text. To restore that functionality, I have to select 'edit' and then return to 'document'. Please fix this.

  17. ask for one single command to create new layer(s) on all pages for note taking purposes. easy to toggle between showing and hiding the notes.

Now users can only create new layer page by page by "importing layers" from files. Adobe should bring in the similar function available in Photoshop which allow users to create a blank layer(s) for all pages of a pdf file in a single command, and let users to enter notes, comments or other annotations on the selected layers. readers can then switch the layer between visible and hiding depending on the use scenario.

  18. I want the framed box back. I put all kinds of status notes on PDFs and with the true Text-Box I could see them when browsing in Explorer.

Hidden comments or hidden sticky notes are useless for this purpose.

  19. Right now, if you select a picture or text box or ANY object while editing, if you want to move that to the next page, you can't just drag and drop it. you have to CUT it, then scroll to the next page, and paste it. What if you have a full clipboard already, and don't want to put this new thing on it, because it'll slow your work down? There's so many reasons to let people do this, and not one good one I can think of to not have it at LEAST be an option to turn on…
