Straight line highlighting / cursor changes randomly
Dear god. This is insane. The cursor in Reader changes itself from a bar to a circle to a bar to a cross to a circle to a bar to a cross to a circle. Completely randomly. I'm trying to work in a text document to highlight text. It's a series of professional documents that are just rows of text. Your product is completely unable to cope. I have no idea how these kinds of things get released onto the market. I know about the Ctrl key but seriously.

Can only find / replace whole word not partial word
Cannot replace a partial word. Have Find - whole word unchecked. As soon as I add something to Replace, Whole word checks and goes gray. This was marked as Resolved but it is not.

Acrobat DC reverts to old version of saved files.
When I save over an old file (with the same name) and open it, it reverts to the previous saved version. Looks fine with all the changes done in the Preview, but the moment I open the file it is still the old version. Fine if we rename file or quite Acrobat and open fresh. So this looks like some sort of caching bug?

Enter Measurement into Existing Scale
When working with the Measurement Tool in Acrobat DC Pro. It should be possible to enter a measurement on a page when the scale is set. Rather than just stretching the line.
For instance, if I wanted to see how far 22.22" is on a .125"=12" Scale.
Currently the only way to find this measurement, is to stretch the measurement line. If Adobe would allow me to enter the 22.22", and then have the program measure that out, it would be an excellent resource.

RESPECTIVE 2.0 FONT
Adobe does not allow users, even users at organizations with MANY CREATIVE CLOUD LICENSES USED DAILY, to add custom fonts to Creative Cloud.
I want to add Respective 2.0 font to a user's machine for use in document creation. She is unable to do so. Truly unacceptable that adding fonts requires Adobe to keep a pre-approved online font repository.

unable to save/update existing .pdf
When trying to save an edited .pdf, "the file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder" error pop-up is presented. I am the only user with it open, I have made edits to the document (not read only) and, in several cases, I am the creator of the document.

Bug Report
Acrobat DC keeps getting stuck in - "This operation not allowed, since scanning is in progress" - mode. Cannot clear it. Cannot perform any additional functions. Have to force shutdown.Seems to happen with certain acrobat created files but not others when I attempt to recognize text or run the enhance file feature of Acrobat.

can not save pdf
After downloading a password-protected document (with password protection but authorization for form processing and saving) can only save once.
When trying to save the document a second time (also under a different name), the error message appears:
"The document could not be saved.
The file is either read-only or used by another user.
Save the document under a different name or in a different folder. "Unfortunately, the document can not be saved under a different name and / or folder.

Editting Options visibility
Right now editing tools reflecting on the top of the page as horizontally, is there any possibility to reflect the all editing options on the left side of the page as vertically.

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2019.012.20034. I find that it is worse, less user-friendly and intuitive than the old version.
This new version is much less user friendly than Acrobat Pro. There are no pull down menus for all my favorite commands, like signing, insert text, and adding ovals to a document.
Argh!!!

Align is not working if one field is selected.
This is a simple task that should be possible.

Organize Pages, Extract, no ability to type in desired multiple page range
Organize Pages, Extract, currently: no ability to type in desired multiple page range.
Currently you have to select the Picture Pages to get a Range selected.
Why can't you all make it available to type in our Multiple Page Range, too, in the Page # box?
This was a feature for a long time on the older version. It was much quicker & less errors to be able to type in my Page Range to Extract.
Thank you.2 votes -

Splitting double pages in single pages
There should be an option to split all pages of a document in the middle. For example, when scanning books, a double page always equals one page in PDF. Cropping every page is very cumbersome

Scale Pages to Fit
Spent 2 hrs with support on a stupid simple feature. How is this not simpler?

Text Box should have Opaque option - Transparent is imposed by default which allows Background image to be visible in text box
Add a feature to the Add Text function in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC so that a user can choose Opaque for a text box and avoid a Background image being visible through the text box. Also, the user should be able to choose a solid color to appear behind the text in the text box. This feature is so basic that it should have been in the product from the start. Photoshop Elements has had it for a long time!

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC keeps changing the tool I'm using
Example: Say I'm working with the Prepare Form tool, and I have several form fields selected - maybe I'm aligning them, setting the sizes or fonts, whatever. Now I'm done and I want to deselect the group of fields; always before, I simply clicked anywhere on the page, the fields deselected, but the Prepare Form tool remained active. Recently, we upgraded my machine to Windows 10, and brought Adobe Acrobat up to version 2019.021.20061. Ever since then, whenever I click on the document page to deselect the group of fields, the tool seems to switch to Edit PDF mode (even…
