I'm using Acrobat Pro DC printing on HP OfficeJet Pro 8710. It prints 2-sided on the Short-Edge binding even if Long-Edge is selected.
Suddenly within the last few days, if I print from my Acrobat Pro DC to my HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 printer, it only prints two-sided PDF documents on the Short-Edge binding even if Long-Edge binding 2-sided printing mode was selected. Was there a recent s/w update with bug that's causing this phenomenon? I use 2-sided printing quite a bit and this is really a huge problem for me!

Print to PDF File Location
When you print to pdf or perform some action where it saves the file, it typically goes to the location you last printed to or saved to. In my case, this is typically a location where I was working on my last project and not the most current project file on a network. What would be really sweet would be if when you export, save, or print a file etc. that it would give the option of selecting from presently open windows file folders. Or perhaps if you could create a shortcut to a file location in adobe that you…

Adjust Page Size
The Page Size on a PDF is 10.00 x 7.5 in but I am trying to print to 11 x 8.5 in. The printer is requesting 16k paper which I don't have. When I click ignore then it cuts off part of the document.

Please please please make Overprint Preview a default!
As the world continues to use PDFs for EVERYthing, it is so so important that people are aware of Overprint Preview. However, most people don't know it even exists in their page display preferenc. If you don't have this turned on things that are set to overprint will show as if they are not overprinting (mostly on the customer's end). Because the default of Acrobat is not to have Overprint Preview turned on, customers don't realize the problem. In the printing industry this is one of the biggest stumbling stones (boulders) we come across. That and fonts, of course.

It would be very nice to be able to append to documents already saved to your computer as you can with Nuance by using print to Nuance and a
Pls provide us with the ability to Print to Adobe and append to rather then overwrite an existing file. Append to front or back of file instead of having to save each file and then open them all in adobe and merge them.

Many times we have PDF document that has a mix of Letter, Tabloid, Arch C, Arch D, Arch E, Arch F, Eng C, Eng D, Eng F, or custom page size. When sent PDF file to printer that has only tabloid, the printer gives errors about not able to find require paper size that is above tabloid. Adobe default prints to pdf instead of printer.
Allow users to set the default printer to an actual physical printer rather than having Adobe continually default to "printing" to pdf. Multiple times a day I have to "re-set" my printer preference from "PDF" to the physical printer. After a few hundred times, I find myself deeply irritated with Adobe engineers and designers.

Print as PDF from Adobe Acrobat on Mac
I know there is an option to "Save as PDF". However, sometimes, you don't want to "Save as PDF". You may want to "Print as PDF" (as it is in windows).
These 2 are different since "saving as PDF" simply saves the page as it is while "Printing as PDF" gives one the flexibility of saving as booklet, multiple pages e.t.c.
Also, "printing as PDF" enables one to save PDF forms that are not traditionally enabled for saving.
All these are important and standard features on the Windows version of the software.

Reverse collated printing
I have 2 problems with the New Adobe update.
1) There is No Way to Reverse Print so the doc does not have to be HAND Reversed to be in Readable Order on my HPOffice Jet Pro 7740.

PDF Distiller to work with internal encyrpted documents
We have internally developed, encrypted PDF forms that we own the intellectual property for. We make these available to internal users to generate publicly distributed documents where company private data has been removed via a control on the page. At present PDF Distiller complains that it cannot re-author an encrypted file. But if we own the encrypted file, there should be a way to internally sign this document for use amongst our users without needing to release the encryption password to our users. Print Current View
Either allow print settings to be included in the Quick Tools at the top, or move "Print Current View" as a choice under Pages to Print without having to go to More Options first. I spend a lot of time printing details from PDFs and it takes three extra steps, each time. Also, Print Current View doesn't quite match with the display on the print settings.

Print error with grayscale bitmapped files using "print in grayscale (black and white)"
Discovered a printing error in Acrobat Pro DC. Converted a PDF created in Word using Illustrator to CMYK and just to Black and White. Most of the art is vector or text, however the logos are bitmaps. I copied them into photoshop, converted to grayscale, and pasted them back into Illustrator and saved the file as a high resolution PDF. When printing in Acrobat Pro DC (2019.010.20099) to our Minolta Bizhunb C308, using the function of "Print in grayscale (black and white)" the bitmaps are printed in inverse. I just upgraded to Adobe Pro last week and today whenever I open a PDF it crashes after a few seconds. I also am not able to print to a PDF and it says that my account is not activated, but when I check everything looks right.

Can't print pdf files
Hi,
I have Adobe Acrobat Reader Pro - Build: 18.11.20040.280397, operating on MACOS High Sierra 10.13.4, with a MFC Brother printer.
all of a sudden I can't print any files unless I go into advanced settings in the print dialogue box and change to print as image?
I have updated my mac, my printer and adobe acrobat with no success. I have attached a screenshot of the error msg in my printer queue.

Highlighting doesn't print
In previous versions, I could highlight text and the highlighting would print when the document was printed. Now it does not.

Fix it
The new version is worse! Quick Printing out of Outlook, is Slower than snail mail. It freezes up, will not print, will not find files with any color headings in them. Does not find files with headers. It's messing up my morning routine. I have to print a minimum of 50 pdf's from emails everyday. And your new version Cannot handle it.

this program sucks prints out 3 incomplete pages when it should be 1 complete page!!!
you need to fix this program!!! payed good money for it to print pdf files and thet partially print too many pages.... sucks royally!!!!!

please expand the number of characters that we can input into the pages to print space to an unlimited number of characters. It is currently limited to 100 characters. If a characters limit is required, please expand it to 5000 characters. Thank you.

Add option to print using system dialog by default
In my office we have user codes we use when printing. The code is saved into the print driver of each user. When printing from Adobe we are forced to click "properties" before every print, even if we don't need to make any setting changes. If you do not click properties, the user code embedded into the driver is not sent with the print job and it fails with an authentication error at the printer.
