  2. Moving the Navigation panel to the right side makes it extremely difficult to use. Since (in English at least) we naturally read form left to right, moving navigation to the right means that once I think I have found the section I need I have to shift my gaze all the way to the other side of the screen to start reading it and confirm. This is a small difference in isolation, but the extra eye fatigue adds up quickly. It is just very counterintuitive to try and put the organizational structure of the document on the right side. This…

  3. This version is horrible! It's slow and quite "twitchy". It takes me twice as long to delete a group of thumbnails. I highlight one, press/hold shift to highlight another and the first one I selected becomes unselected. I've been working on the same document for about 20 minutes now trying to delete blank pages sprinkled throughout a 180 page pdf and extract small groups of pages. I keep having to either redo everything or totally close and redo everything. Toolbars are small. Toolbars are on both left and right. Those on the right make no sense (save and print....really? Top…

  5. Ability to hide 'Recommended tools for you' at the top of Acrobat home page above Recent. The purple-red-white gradient is visually ugly, and I would prefer a clean white page with just Recent files, which is useful. Professional users don't need 'Recommended tools for you', we can find them when we need to.

  7. I almost got a heart attack. I was working on a pdf, then I opened a new document and the Acrobat interface was completely different.

I use Acrobat every day and the new interface is too different from the old one. Tools are difficult to find because they have been placed somewhere else.

I definitely don't have time to learn how to use a new software. I didn't not appreciate to be face to this suddent change without any warning.

It would be better to give user the option to customize the left and right pannels. If it's already possible,…

  8. The floating toolbar seems purposed for newer users. It would be helpful if the following was done with the floating toolbar.
    - Enable the toolbar to be transparent
    - Allow the toolbar to be docked on the right panel
    - Enable the toolbar to automatically minimize when not in use
    - Allow users to remove the default tools

A few features that are quite nice about the toolbar:
    - Contextual menus are immediately activated and brought into view once a tool is selected
    - Various related tools can be pinned to the floating toolbar
    - The toolbar can be moved…

  9. New interface is almost unusable. I have to basically edit and save documents multiple times a day. Both of those options are buried and when I used the edit feature I couldn't even figure out how to stop using it. thank goodness you had the option (though it was well hidden) to revert to the original UI. what were you thinking?

  10. It is extremely frustrating that the scroll bars are missing on the September 2023 release of Acrobat DC - they re-appear on a mouse click, but do not respond to Wacom pen. So to scroll through a PDF, the pen has to be put aside. This is slowing down my work considerably, and there has been a lot of frustration expressed in the Adobe Support Community, especially among Wacom users. This is not a behaviour that we can be expected to "get used to" or "love", as it has not been designed with the user in mind.

  11. Most of the time when there is an upgrade you get used to it and after a while see the benefits of it or at least accept the change.
But I have never seen such an awfull designed UI like with the latest Upgrade.
Everything is moved for no reason where we are used to locations of buttons and functions. Why is the Save button on top right where in 99% of all other applications its top left same for print etc.

If someone works with this the first time, he might gets used to it but for me personally…

  15. Remove this new interface. Due to the update all settings of my old interface (shortcuts, custom button position) are lost and I have to set up my "workspace" new.
Stop deleting the users setting when an update is made - while we pay 700 Euro per year and person.

  16. I want to see ALL of the tools in the tools pane. It's called the ALL tools pane but doesn't actually show you ALL of the tools. ?? It randomly truncates the list and shows a "view more" option; and the bottom of the pane is needlessly wasted with prompts to use other tools like "Check out new e-sign tools." I don't want or need to see any of that - just want the tools; but there's no way to turn off the waste of real estate at the bottom of the pane.

  17. When running Windows 11 23H2, and the Taskbar is set to "Never combine buttons", and Acrobat Pro is configured to use Tabs, it initially exhibits the correct behavior of having only one icon/button in the Taskbar. However, when switching Desktop Spaces to another desktop, and then back to the desktop where I'm running Acrobat, suddenly Acrobat has created multiple buttons on the Taskbar for every tab I have open in Acrobat. This is clearly a bug, and additionally none of the new buttons that it created do anything -- I click on them, but it does not take me to…

  18. WTF are you thinking! Who has the idea of "simplifying" someone's interface when it's not asked for. I didn't even get a choice! All of a sudden this morning I find my whole setup was changed. Flip-flopped the side margins! Reset my toolbar. Make me look at a hideous floating toolbar when there is plenty of room to dock it! I don't have time to figure out how to re-learn how to use your program today! I need to get my reports edited and sent out and now I'm stuck trying to find where all my tools went!

    And you…

  19. I have adobe panes, quick tools, toolbar, etc. customized so that all the tools I use are in easy reach. I do NOT need to waste my time rebuilding my workspace just to make it functional again.

  20. Do not force a chage to this new GUI that you are trying to create it is not user friendly and will make it so we can no longer use Acrobat within our business model. It makes something that is super quick turn into something that now takes 3 to 4 times longer because you are forcing your thoughts on your users instead of leaving well enough alone. The program works amazingly and does not need a User Interface GUI change.
