  2. Strange behavior on Windows 11 taskbar when uncombined. As you can see in the attached video, the Adobe Acrobat icon is duplicated when shifting the windows to another monitor and stays like that until I close the app and open it again.
It becomes very annoying when opening many files such as 5 or more. The taskbar will be full of Acrobat.

  3. Please give an option to EASILY get rid of the AI Assistant (beta) feature. Ever since installing the latest update, my Acrobat Pro runs SUPER slowly. I don't actually need AI to read documents. I do need Acrobat to be able to scroll without freezing constantly. Otherwise, what's the point of paying for Acrobat when there are tools that scroll perfectly fine for free?

The new UI is fine otherwise, but I had to disable it (View > Disable new Acrobat) just so I could scroll through documents without Acrobat freezing constantly since you added that AI Assistant feature.

  5. If I change the Simulation Preview profile in the Output Preview panel, it used to be that I would see my color simulated as if it printed/displayed in the other environment. Now, however, it's actually changing the color values to keep the same appearance. This is a bad idea. We need a way to turn this off or at least toggle it.

I'm currently seeing this behavior in the 2024 version. I'm not sure with which version this changed.

  6. Don't open bookmarks by default!

When opening a document that has bookmarks embedded in it, the bookmarks panel opens automatically (and slowly) and takes up a third of the screen. It's infuriating, takes several seconds before it can be closed, and is completely pointless. Ditch it, or make it take up a tiny fraction of the screen space. I hate the way Acrobat prioritizes bookmarks over every other aspect of the interface.

  7. Like every other service, Adobe as well keeps making things increasingly difficult for people who are not neurotypical. Like this new AI button that SCREAMS in the right corner. Because of these kind of features, using these services (of which we pay a great deal for) is getting almost impossible. I really would appreciate the developers to take into account people whose brain simply does not work in a way that ignoring that HUGE colourful button in the corner is possible. Now that it is there, I cannot use Adobe Acrobat anymore without sticking a sticker to my computer screen…

  10. Who at Adobe thought that it would be a good idea to have a floating toolbar that the user cannot dock, cannot flip horizontally, and, critically, cannot choose to hide? It blocks readable document content and is very annoying.

Please create the option to hide the floating toolbar.

  11. We pay you a subscription fee to have an app for our work, we are NOT beta testers, if we are going to test something you have to get a discount. There should be an option to remove that stupid button.

  13. I use Adobe to open up to hundreds of pdf files every day and the bookmarks menu keeps popping up every time i have closed the viewer window.
I have gone in to Preferences -> Documents and turned on "Restore last view settings when reopening documents" but it doesent work.
This is very annoying because i never use bookmarks.

  14. Acrobat is pushing their users to BlueBeam. the new interface added NO user benefit, but made commonly used features harder to access, and switched toolbar sides for no benefit, and obnoxiously forces the floating toolbar to cover your document while leaving the top bars empty. If Acrobat ever removes the "Disable new Acrobat" I will be switching to BlueBeam.

  15. Access to our most used actions in a toolbar is excellent, but the floating toolbar is so annoying because it is on top of the content of the opened document. It would be better if we could customise where the toolbar should be and have the ability to dock it without it so it is not on top of the content.
Older versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro allowed it to be on the top horizontally, which used to work perfectly for me. Please let users decide how best to interact with Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  16. Prior to recent update, when wanted to visually compare or read two documents simultaneously could drag by the doc tab to make new window. Now that crashes whole session - their is also a bug in the menu function open new window, it does move the open document to a new window, it also leave sit in the other session so you to close it manually - made working with multiple windows very time consuming and difficult

  18. Hey, so I’ve been trying to figure out how to create UI mockups, but it’s a bit overwhelming. What’s the best way to get started with creating UI mockups from scratch? Like, do I need to start with sketches, wireframes, or can I jump straight into something more polished? I’ve heard there are all these tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD, but I’m not sure where to begin or which one is best for beginners. Also, how detailed should a mockup really be? Should I focus on colors, fonts, and images right away, or is it more about the…

  19. I chose the option "Single page continuous" as my default in preferences, but it doesn't work.

Steps to reproduce: Choose "Single Page Continuous" in preferences. Open a pdf document for the first time.

    Environment: Windows 10 Pro version 22H2 ; Adobe Acrobat Continuous Release | Version 2024.005.20320 | 64-bit

    Expected behavior: Continuous scrolling.

    Observed behavior: Page-wise scrolling.

  20. Starting recently, Adobe Reader does not remember my preferred open size across multiple monitors. I open pdf's in that are 'normalized' (not maximized or minimized) across multiple monitors. In the past Adobe reader would remember my preferred window position across multiple monitors. It no longer does, but opens normalized filling one monitor. Adobe Acrobat Reader 2004.005.20320 64 bit on Windows 10 22H2 (OS Build 19045.5371) latest version.

    Thanks,
    John Haigerty
