[bug reports] Acrobat DC2021 OLE freezes when a large number of JSObject getPageNthWord functions are called
In Acrobat OLE of DC2021, when I call a PDF with hundreds of pages with getPageNthWord function of JSObject, it stops at an unspecified page and word number.
The arguments of this function specify the correct page and word number, and the code works fine in DC2017.
The place to freeze is not the same every time, and the pattern is not fixed.
I have the following questions about this issue:
Is there a way for the calling program to fix this bug?
It's working fine in DC2017, so I think it's a bug specific to DC2021, but is the…

Cross platform support
I know that this is something that has been suggested many times, but please consider supporting at the very least Linux distros like Ubuntu/Debian and Red hat (maybe a few more of the most used distros).
I know the general reasoning for not doing so, but most is so dated by now! And I wholly believe that anyone who has tried a major distro within the past couple of years, will agree."Linux are mostly used by coders/hackers/servers":
Everyone who knows how to format a computer, and install Windows, can easily install and use Ubuntu, as a minimum. It's easier…3 votes -

document cloud
There has been an update that happened between 4/15/21 and 4/16/21. I use the Document Cloud daily to combine PDFs and there was a change/update that took place that now makes the task daunting. It was much smoother prior to today.

Add ability to search across all open PDFs
I would like the ability to keyword search all currently open PDFs, regardless of their storage location.
It is frustrating to have a group of documents in various places and have to repeat the same search for each open document. Multiple clicks and lots of frustration. Would be a HUGE timesaver if the search feature would allow me to just select "search all open PDFs".

Quick Actions File Explorer Context Menu Bug
When using the File Explorer to select multiple files then right clicking and choosing combine PDFs, it gives error "This feature is not included in your current Acrobat license". If you try again after acrobat opens it works. If acrobat has already been opened since a restart it works as well.

Rename Tabs
It would be nice to have the ability to rename the tabs on the fly (instead of having to save them). When I combine pages or extract pages into a binder, I would like to have the ability to quickly change the binder name without having to save it because I won't necessarily need to save the binder.
Thanks!

Stop the Adobe Desktop Service.exe from memory hogging
Adobe should fix this (Desktop Service) supporting application for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC from taking up so much memory as a background process. Currently about 240 MBytes of memory. If all it is doing is checking the licence, why does it need so much space??!

Acrobat DC - Can't paste content into alt text or document properties fields
After the most recent Acrobat DC update, we suddenly could not paste any text into the alt text field or the title, subject, author, and keyword fields in document properties. The cursor was there, but nothing appeared when we tried to paste. This happened when copying from any application (Word, PowerPoint, even from within the PDF itself). Oddly, we could paste into the body of the PDF, just not the alt text and document property fields. Ultimately we had to uninstall and reinstall, which seemed to fix the problem. But we have no idea what caused this malfunction in the…

Adobe Acrobat Logo
For the millions of corporate/government users who use Microsoft Windows, the taskbar is near black. The new Adobe Acrobat (black) logo is difficult to quickly identify. Perhaps a different color would be ideal, maybe a light gray?

Allow greater precision for control points in Geospatial Measures Dictionary
In the Adobe SDK Extension to the PDF (ISO32000) standard, Extension Level 3, there are several Array structures that encode a series of control points for Geospatial measurement.
In particular, we are interested in the /GPTS and /LPTS arrays in the Geospatial Measure Dictionary.
Since the elements of these arrays are PDF number objects, we can only expect a limited amount of floating-point precision to be preserved by PDF reader implementations (which typically represent PDF number objects as either 32-bit integers or 32-bit IEEE 754 single-precision floating point). This amount of precision is often insufficient for workflows that involve recovering…

Restore files didn't open after crash
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - crashes on me occasionally, despite upgrading RAM on ThinkPad to 32GB. Sometimes unsaved files will reopen, but not always. I read online that a temporary folder is created. Why does it delete itself when you close Adobe? Defeats the purpose of saving back-up file.

Allow organisation of Lightroom presets
Lightroom needs to bring back the function that allows you to organise your presets into folders. I currently have hundreds of presets from different creators and they're all jumbled up in a complete mess and I have to scroll through every single one to find the one I want. This needs to be prioritised as it's slowing down workflow for I imagine thousands of people.
