  1. The description on invoices Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is complete gobble-de-gook!

The description on our invoices currently says:
    65222762 APAP,ALL,MLP,DRI01,MAU,001,N/A,1 YR
    EAME
    Line Tax Rate: 10 %

    It should say something like:
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC monthly subscription fee

I'm not the only one who would like this changed. A Google search reveals plenty of other people who would like this changed too.

  2. Acrobat DC on an iMac with 4k retina display with a second monitor attached.
When I try to bring a panel, such as the Pan & Zoom panel, onto the second monitor, first of all, it doesn't show up on the second panel. I moved it off the first monitor and the part that should show up on the 2nd monitor doesn't show up.

When I move the pane fully onto the 2nd monitor, instantly Adobe Acrobat DC crashes.

  4. To bookmark text, drag to select it. The selected text becomes the label of the new bookmark ONLY if you use the mouse—using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl-B creates a bookmark with a blank name.

    Please fix!

  5. When adding a PDF Portfolio to a file list (Combine Files) I get the following informational dialog box,

"File [File name] is a PDF Portfolio that contains multiple files. The files with the PDF Portfolio have been added to the file list." It requires that you click OK, before the files will be added and you can continue.

I wish to disable this dialog box as I am archiving thousands of files a day.

  6. Add bookmark feature that will mark a whole section of pages in a pdf that can be extracted later as a separate document. This would allow better management of the merging and un-merging multiple pdfs into and out of a larger pdf file. This would be helpful if only one chapter in a pdf file needs to be removed, edited and then replaced.

  7. I keep getting offers to try out Acrobat Pro DC. I install it. It says I have zero days left, since I used my trial when it first came out. Since this is going to be an evergreen product, I'd like to see the "timer" on the trial expire, so that I can see if the newest version is something I'm interested in/features improved, etc.

  8. Why are text edits confined to the current page? The capability to drag a text block to another page is a must-have. Ability to have text flow to the next page is much needed.

  10. Currently the Bates Numbering option does not allow the user to select folder and subfolders to the window for incorporating Bates Numbering. Users currently have to separate the subfolders onto the desktop and then add each folder separately to the list, once all the folders are added, the functionality can then be operated. However, most of the time users have up to 500 subfolders, so its essential that the subfolders are numbered to that the Bates numbering follows numerically correctly. There are other products that can already do this, so why cant Adobe

  14. I am a Prepress tech using an APPE workflow, the most current release. I have been seeing problems, since my upgrade and the advent of the CC, with PDF 1.4 being submitted for print. Mostly transparency problems. I have people modify their Adobe Press Quality PDF Preset to PDF 1.7, from InDesign. It helps greatly. Also makes me feel more confident in the soft proofing process, as v1.7 passes my EnFocus and RIP preflights better than lesser PDF versions. And I know this is an InDesign PDF export setting problem, but it is a Distiller preset, available within Indy. Can…

  15. As admin assigning licenses to users could I also have the ability to Carbon Copy when sending out the "invitation with instructions"?

Managers would like to be CC when the invite goes out to new users.

  16. In Distiller XI Pro 11.0.20 (28.03.2017), distill the following:

    %!PS
    /StrokeCode {1 setlinejoin gsave 0 setlinecap 24 setlinewidth 0 setgray stroke grestore 1 setlinecap 9.6 setlinewidth 1 setgray stroke} def
    144 72 moveto 144 144 2 copy 72 144 curveto
    72 144 moveto 144 144 2 copy 144 72 curveto
    StrokeCode
    showpage

The moveto should start a new sub-path; display of that point should be determined by setlinecap not by setlinejoin. Alas, Distiller causes it to be determined by setlinejoin.

  17. Using 'Send for Signature' with added signature block. Date does not appear when uploading an image. Unlike type and draw which has the date automatically added under the signature. See tickets #0188780191 and #0188780008 on 3/21/17.

  18. A "Print as Handouts" feature similar to the 2x6 feature in Microsoft PowerPoint. It is common for lecture slides to be released as single slide per page pdf documents, rather than the original PPT file. Because of this, you can only choose to print a number of pages per page (slides per page) in Adobe Acrobat but there is no option, like in powerpoint, for handouts (that is, have 3 slides/pages on the left side of a sheet and 3 boxes to the right that are blank with ruled lines on it for taking notes).

  20. First my suggestion for Acrobat Pro is work more painstakingly or stock up staff! The CC costs a bunch of money and when working with it, it shows that it doesn't function as sufficient as is should. Especially when it comes to creating/editing more advanced interactive PDFs with Acrobat Pro. The possibility to do that basically is a very mighty and good feature but it doesn't runs as stable as it should.

In my opinion there could/should be a standalone software thats reduced to interactive/form field and layout functions (comparable: InDesign) only. Acrobat Pro is packed full with lots of…
