tab name is not updating to save file name
I used a template file "Invoice template" and have been saving new files with updated names with the "Save As" feature.
Once I have saved my computer recognizes the file in the folder with the correct name but once I open in AQC the tab still has the "Invoice template" name referenced on the tab and no name for the updated file name.

Change Highlight Text Color With Keybinds
Hi! It would be amazing to the workflow if you could add the option to set specific keybinds to change the hightlight text color before actually take the action or using the mouse to manually select the color you want.
For example: I'm using "green" as standard color but as i'm reading i decide that for that line of text i would rather choose "red" cause it is important. I would love to have the option to press -for example- "1" and automatically change the hightlight color to "red".

Exclude punctuation from whole word selection
When selecting text in Acrobat, it defaults to selecting the entire word, so that editors must routinely deselect text Acrobat has included in error. I understand from past comments that Adobe has no intention of changing this behavior.
But could you at least not consider adjacent punctuation to be part of the word?
If I want to select a word at the end of a sentence, I very rarely want to select the period, too. If I do, I can drag a little further much easier than carefully dragging back just one character to undo Acrobat's mistaken selection.

Allow the Create Link button to appear when you right click text.
When creating a new text box, there is the option of highlighting the text, right clicking and choosing Create Link. However, this option disappears when highlighting text later on, even text that was created by the author. Please add this option to all highlighted text that is right clicked.

Allow User to set reminder dates for Employee Documents
For the Desktop verison for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I believe a nice add-on feature would be a setting for the document if the user wants to set a reminder for that specific document. For example, If a employee's medical card is renewed and expires Jan 1, 2023, I want to be able to open the document in Adobe Acrobat Pro and set a date/time for a reminder for that document. the reminder settings should also include when the reminder should alert the user to that document that needs attention. so 2-3 weeks before Jan 1, 2023. Stop lumping all text boxes/objects together as one big object with no way to separate them
When I paste a big bullet list into a new .PDF, or save it from a word doc, I go to move some of the bullet points around, only to find that you've made them all the same object. and there's NO WAY to add or remove lines of text or images from a larger object. At all. You have to manually delete it, and copy the image or text, create a new text box, then paste it far enough away so it doesn't again get lumped in with the rest of the stuff on the page.

On split file one should be able to say split into A4 size. That'l be very helpful.

All pdfs are read-only
Is there a fix for the read-only bug in which you are unable to save edits to pdfs. Error message reads "The document could not be saved. The file may be a read only or another user may have it open. Please save this document with a different name or in a different folder."

Page Thumbnails Options Menu
The new "Add a custom page" menu item has been placed on the Page thumbnails Option menu in the former location of "Extract pages." Even though I am aware of this addition, years of muscle memory from quickly processing PDFs has me continually selecting the wrong menu item. It takes up to a minute for the custom page feature to load, only for me to cancel it, and then try to select the Extract pages choice. A feature to add a page should properly be placed within the Insert pages option. If this were done, it would return the option…

tool not installed
I installed DC and am trying to edit pages and every time I attempt to edit, it says the tool is not installed. Or more features are installing and we will let you know when you can use your program.
If I installed the program, why are you not providing a complete program? I paid for a subscription, why are you failing to provide the complete tool set?

Redacting PDFs
Acrobat seems to have changed the options when a user tries to Save and there are existing markups on a document to prompt the user to Save&Apply or to Save. The Save&Apply is the default option. It would be helpful if Save was the default option so that users don't accidentally Apply redactions and lose the original version.
As far as I can tell when Save&Apply is selected, it only saves a version with the applied redactions, rather than the original and the redacted version.

clipboard functionality
Just as I can save a signature and insert into the signature field. I would like to be able to save other information (address, phone, fax, etc) and be able to insert into those fields. Essentially you need a clipboard within Adobe to store text that is commonly used.

Allow files embedded in Word files to open when converted to PDF. The embedded file will not open it has to be reattached.
I have a word o365 file that needs to be converted to PDF. The word file has a pdf embedded inside it. IT opens in the Word file but when i hope the word file that was converted to a pdf the embedded pdf no longer works i have to re-attach it.

Allow bookmark to be permanently visible on the page itself (Stamp?)
Bookmark visible as a stamp on page itself so that the user can see what the document title is without having to open the bookmarks pane. This should be a toggle on/off capability and be moveable on the page (select which section of the page it appears in default). Might also be helpful if the stamp defaults could be edited for font, size, etc

Acrobat DC does not release the file even after closing it
I have just installed the latest Adobe DC from your website. I have pdf files on removable media. I open and close pdf files. Acrobat DC reader does not release the files even after closing them.
When I try to eject the removable media, Windows says device in use. Unless I shut down Windows, the files are not released. Very frustrating.
