Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint for Mac
MacBook Pro (M1, 2020)
Adobe Acrobat:Build 25.1.20577.0 (Mac)
Safari:
1 vote -
save as
There is no 'save as' function. They keep adding tools and making things much more confusing and harder to use while removing the most used features. 'Save as' is probably one of the most used buttons and it is nowhere to be found. Try making things simple again instead overcomplicating everything. There should be a file or window menu in the main menu that includes 'save as.

Want to eliminate repetitive billing tasks? QuickBooks allows you to set up recurring payments quickly. After creating an invoice, click on “Make Recurring,” then set the template type as “Scheduled.” Define the frequency, duration, and customer details. This feature is ideal for service-based businesses that bill monthly or weekly, ensuring invoices are sent automatically without missing a due date.

Bug: Font color changes to black when creating PDF from MS Word file
Using latest MS Word and latest Acrobat DC on latest MS Windows.
Creating PDF from docx file, turned off all accessibility features in Word and Acrobat. Settings maximised for best quality.
Since last week, the export is rendering some fonts as Black in the PDF, whereas in Word they are Navy blue, or white with navy background.
Rebooted, installed updates, tried other colour combinations, checked all Word and Adobe settings for accessibility. I have opened the PDF in other viewers and the problem persists. Images are all fine, it's just the font colour which changed.

Acrobat Pro Combining PDF Bug "This feature is not included in your current Acrobat license."
I get this random bug every now and then on the paid version of Acrobat pro where when I go to combine files and make them into a PDF, I get a pop-up that says "This feature is not included in your current Acrobat license". When I go to do it a second time, I'm able to combine files. Kind of a strange bug, but it always works the second time I try and do this.

Feature Req: Have Microsoft Acrobat App mimic the Desktop Experience
Adobe elite customers are asking for Microsoft Outlook & Adobe Acrobat Plugin mimic the desktop experience as Microsoft keeps pushing out new updates to their office suite and the current experience isnt streamlined..
Will this be considered by Adobe Acrobat product managers in the future?

Combine files
When using "Combine files" functionality, the order in which the document thumbnails appear used to (logically) depend on the order in which you selected the files. The document you want first in the combined PDF, you selected first, and then other files in order. Now (the last 5 years or so) no matter what order you select the files, they are always in...alphabetical order (?) in the Combine Files window. Why lose this great functionality?

Converting multiple Images to PDF page numbers
when I have multiple images that I want to convert into a PDF I'll select them all and select create a single document with Acrobat but they are not numbered in the thumbnail. The page number appears as the name of the document. Adobe should recognize each page in the thumbnail. This creates problems because if I later want to extract a selection of page numbers I can't because it's not a page number it's a document name.

Create a link in authoring tool (MadCap Flare) so that PDFs in Portfolio can "find" one another
It would be great to be able to create href links in my source tool so that when PDFs are generated (by MadCap Flare, for example) and placed in a Portfolio they can link to specific bookmarks across PDFs. I know that links can be created across PDFs once they are in Portfolio but, if there a lot of links, they have to be re-created every time a change is made to the documentation.

Convert DWF to PDF not enabled in Acrobat x64
DWF (Design Web Format) files cannot be converted to PDF with Acrobat 64-bit.
This feature is only allowed with Acrobat 32-bit.For our company, reverting to the 32-bit version is not an option. Using pdf format to distribute 3D drawings to vendors\customers would be a really useful feature for us.

Cannot create PDF and share via outlook by attachment - must be link only - Bad upgrade
I do not like the fact that I cannot just simply send a PDF as an email attachment any longer with the new Adobe. Have no option and forced to send by link.
Having to go through all the steps of going the the share process is very inconvenient when you have to send hundreds of different PDF through the course of the day.

Conversion
So the connection from Microsoft Word to "Create 1 free pdf every 30 days" has a one drive connection issue. The discovery of this issue costs me my one free pdf.
Bravo Adobe, you just charged me one free PDF to help you discover a bug. Why would I "sign up" when my first interaction with your Word integration results in a bug?
Please wait as we work to fix this problem, then try again. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

I only want to "star" a document once in its lifetime. Right now, I have the experience that I need to "star" the same document every time I update the document. If that's true, its idiotic, stupid Adobe engineering.

BUG: Windows Acrobat Add in for PowerPoint doesn't render drawn data.
BUG: PowerPoint Acrobat Add-in fails to render shapes drawn with the Drawing tools. These are the tools in the DRAW tab, pens and pencils, etc. If using the Acrobat added commands in the PPT UI, drawn shapes aren't rendered in the PDF. PowerPoint's native PDF writing works fine, it does have a checkbox to control drawn object rendering which Acrobat ignores. Sample files included.

BUG: Windows Acrobat for PowerPoint doesn't render "Ink"
BUG: Use the tools in the Drawing tab in PowerPoint and then use the Acrobat conversion command in the File tab to create a PDF. PDF does not render the drawn objects. PowerPoint's native PDF save will do this, but has an option in settings to turn it on and off. Adobe Acrobat function in PowerPoint ignores that setting. Sample files included.
