  1. Skipped files in batch conversion of emails in an Outlook folder

When doing a batch conversion of emails in an Outlook folder, all of the emails should be captured in a single PDF file. Unfortunately not all emails are converted? Is there a limtation of the size of PDF file? When will a file/email be skipped?

  4. Converting MS emails .msg type files to PDF using 'Combine Files' Feature

I would like to suggest .msg file type to be added to the list of supported files for multiple batch conversion to PDF using the 'Combine Files' feature.

I sure many users would fine this feature useful, we receive a lot of documents many of the .msg file type we need to convert into one pdf bundle together with other types.

I'm aware Acrobat has a plugin to support manual conversion of emails from Outlook to PDF, but it would be really beneficial if we could present emails and other supported files to Acrobat to convert as a batch without…

  5. PDFMOutlookCore.dll bug

    1. PDFMOutlookCore.dll bug

    2. Since last out of cycle update on 2020-12-07 (also timestamp of the PDFMOutlookCore.dll the PDFMaker Add-in in Outlook works only shortly after Reboot for a few PDFs and then stops working, it then creates empty portfolios (see attached test.PDF) or pretents to do something but does not write any data/file to a PDF. PDF-Printing via Adobe-PDF still works from Outlook, but our Users are used to get their Work done exporting E-Mails via PDFMaker Add In.

  6. Acrobat PDFMaker -- incorrect and inconsistent page size printing from Excel

When printing an Excel workbook, if any of the tabs have "autofit" turned on, or a Shrink to Fit percentage, the output PDF has different size pages, rather than being shrunk to fit.

For example, print a simple workbook tab with 90% scaling on 8.5x11 paper, and the PDF created measures 9.44x12.22 inches. It should be 8.5x11 inches.

This causes strange behavior during continuous scrolling, as the user expects to see the same size page boundary (A4/Letter) and they are all different. Other non-Adobe PDF software does not do this.

  7. PowerPoint to pdf (no links)

Convert big pptx files to pdf with external links (http...) in boxes not always work. It’s buggy and randomly create or not the links.

On mac, and using the local service (not cloud, cos the fonts lost).

    Thks

I need Microsoft Access to "add in" or be able to create multiple documents into one pdf. I had this in an older version.

  9. synctex integration to acrobat

It would be extremely useful to those who use one of the various LaTeX typesetting engines (pdfLaTeX, XeLaTeX, LuaLaTeX, etc.) to have SyncTeX integration for Adobe Acrobat

  10. Sorting when Merging Components of Portfolio to a Single PDF

Right now, if I create a Portfolio using emails from outlook, I can sort the components by the email date so that they are sorted from earliest received to latest received. However when I open the portfolio, sort it, and select File > Create > Combine Files into a Single PDF > Add Open Files, the components of the Portfolio are sorted alphabetically instead of by the date as I have them displayed in the portfolio view panel. This means that I have to individually sort each component by date using the organize pages option before I can actually complete…

  11. Converting files - Acrobat XI Pro vs Acrobat Pro DC

Acrobat Pro DC does not convert files as well as Acrobat XI Pro. I was told by support that developing code to convert every font is not possible; however it was possible for XI Pro. I don't want bells & whistles. I just want software that works. Attached are files converted via XI Pro and via Pro DC. Converting as a print file works but it is very inconvenient. I have lots of Word and Excel examples which I can send to someone. I do not want to attach confidential files in this type of forum.

  12. Interactive Chart or Graph

I would like to have the option to create an interactive chart or graph, like you can create in Excel or or Numbers, where a user can enter information and the graph changes accordingly.

  13. As a user who works with panorama images, I need the possibility merge two or more pages into one.

I don't need A3, A4, A0 or any other specif printable size because everything is digital nowadays. I need the possibility to merge two or more pages into one. Panorama is a good start.

  14. BUG: Combine tool alters original text of PDFs to match 1 of the set.

When combining pdfs the binder file has altered the text of the originals to match on of the set.

The pdfs are similar format with pictures. The pictures remain unaltered, but the text is copied from one pdf to all the others that are similar.

  15. Crashes from Word/Excel 2016; both the plug-in and Save As PDF

I get repeated hard-reboot crashes when creating PDFs from relatively small simple Word documents. I follow the instructions, remove and re-add the plugin, still it can take 20 minutes to get a 9-page, no images or links Word document to PDF correctly. Please fix this.
Windows 10, Acrobat Pro DC version 2020 (latest), Microsoft Word and Excel 2016.

  16. Adding a digital signature

What happened to the icon for creating a digital signature field under the "prepare form" menu? We've been asked to create a number of forms and can no longer prepare them with the digital signature block. Help!

  17. Create filenames according to origin, no matter how long the filepath is

Our companys filepath are long, becasue we are dealing with many different subjects and projects. Even our filenames are long.

When the filepath is to long, Adobe PDF is cutting the proposed filename or even make no proposal. Why?

This consumes a lot of power in sum to type an own filename.
As long as this problem is current, we will have to use another product to create pdf.
Because some (e.g. "DWG to PDF" of Autodesk) are working without this problem.
This should be a blame of the inventors of PDF, right?
