Thank you for your suggestion. We shall need more information on how does the “cursor jump around” and what workflow of “Form Conversions” are you using.

Is it converting MSWord to Acroform or via scanning.?
    Please share more details

  2. Whenever I use "File → Save as Other → Reader Extended PDF → Enable More Tools (Includes form fill-in & save)" to save my form. The form in the resulting file cannot be edited. Why? This effectively causes me to have to maintain three copies of my PDF forms: One with no form controls, one converted to a form, and one with More Tools enabled.

  3. Steps to reproduce the issue: Create an exportAsFDF script in a privileged context in a folder level script. Specify an array of some but not every child field of a non-terminal field name using the aFields parameter with exportAsFDF. Next, employ ALL child fields of that multi-field set a pdf, not just the fields in the array, and enter values in every field in the family. Call the script from the pdf to export and save the fdf file. Reset the fields in the pdf to a blank state. Import the fdf file to that pdf.

    Environment: Acrobat Pro DC;…

  4. Hello,

    In the attached file

-Select a grade under Grade Level
-Open up the standards selections under "I am going to learn" under any of the lessons
-Use the scroll bar to scroll down as far as you can

I'm developing the document on a Mac OS X system but I have also repro'd the issue on a Windows system.

    Expected Behavior
I expected the scrolling to go all the way down to the last item on the list.

    Observed behavior
The scroll only lets you go partway down the list. You can use the arrow keys to continue down…

As a workaround, please try the following
    1. Deactivate “Show field preview when editing or adding fields” in the Fields tab of the Preferences

    2. Switch off JavaScript while you work

    3. Please update Acrobat to the latest patch and check if that resolves the issue. Launch Acrobat > click “check for updates” under Help menu.

  6. I have been discussing an issue on this thread in the support forum: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2445804

I will outline the issue below again, however.

I have a drop down that is being populated dynamically: https://i.imgur.com/QKohGq5.png

Users have the ability to do a partial search of the drop down, to filter down to what they're looking to find: https://i.imgur.com/S0P3T17.png

However, when selecting one of the options from within the remaining options available, the results are not always as intended. In this case, I will search "Adult B" to choose Adult Brass Dragon. When selecting Adult Brass Dragon, the following script is enacted via…

As per user’s confirmation in comment below that the issue is fixed. Marking status resolved.

  8. After creating a checkbox, changing its name, modifying its size and assigning "Signer 1" as the participant role, it changes to Signature Field Type.

    Demonstrative Video Attached.

  9. It is not an idea, it is a bug.

When I open two exact same PDF files, one that has been created 2 months ago with formula to insert the current dat, calculate prices and costs, and a freshly created PDF to include the exact same calculations to the exact same named fields, I cannot get one single calculation to stick. Neither when adding them via hand, nor via export and import function. When I go to properties/calculations and user definted calcuations and add the copied text there, click ok enough times thennothing happens. when i look into the field…

  10. May be a bug. This is for Adobe Acrobat Standard DC Version 2015.006.30355. Happens when dealing with RADIO buttons and using Manual Tabs setting. I can move the Radio group field over and over in the right panel, but it will go right back to original position after a Save and open in edit again. After moving it in right panel, it won't change the tab # when viewing tab numbers either. Discovered I have to select "Order Tabs Unspecified", make the move, and then save. It defaults back to Manual after every save (even when still in edit mode),…

  11. In https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/setting-action-buttons-pdf-forms.html you can read:

“When you distribute a form, Acrobat automatically checks the form. If it doesn’t find a submit button, it adds a Submit Form button to the document message bar. Users can click the Submit Form button to send completed forms back to you. If you don’t plan to use the Submit Form button created by Acrobat, you can add a custom submit button to your form.”

I added a Submit button to a form and when I distributed it I got two submit buttons: the one I added plus the standard one generated by Acrobat inside…

  12. Add a new “picture” field that would allow inserting a picture type (jpg, jpg, eps, etc.) into the field. The when pasted in allow the user resizing choices such as zooming and cropping, as needed.

I’m surprised no one has asked for this. I’m in construction and I think this would be needed for insurance forms or any field where photo documentation is being collected.

  13. A form created with LifeCycle Designer as a 2D Barcode. This Barcode is activated using Abdobe Lifecycle Reader extensions. Work on Windows and older version of the Mac, but not with the latest version (Version 2017.009.20044)

  16. (Acrobat Pro DC)

Suggestion: Add an on-the-fly "Form Field Detection?" checkbox above/underneath the "Requires Signatures" checkbox.

In previous versions of Acrobat Pro, on clicking Create Form, there was an on-the-fly option to "Detect Form Fields? Yes/No."

In DC, this option is changed into a default setting that always applies.

Accessing it first requires reading the fine print (which I missed the first three times); clicking the link to the correct section of Preferences, finding the correct setting, and then checking the box. In total, 3 clicks to change a hidden setting.

While I think it is a good idea to…
