  1. I am signed in and I also tried to do a repair. I cannot get into the document cloud as it says to sign in. The sign in button does not work. The menu sign in/sign out shows I am signed in. Nothing is working and I could really use these documents now.

  2. Windows 7 64 bits
    Adobe Acrobat 2018.011.20035

    I create a directory
    inside i saved a jpeg
    i convert trough the right mouse button : Convert to pdf format
    i open the pdf file i saved in the same directory
    i edit with comment or pencil annotation
    i save... Impossible to save
    I look the attributes of the directory :
    Locked in writing
    I close the document i can't save
    i unlock in writing the directory
    i edit the pdf
    save... Impossible...

    I close the pdf.
    Put the pdf in an other directory ...
    All work !!!!

  4. Hello,

    In the attached file

    -Select a grade under Grade Level
    -Open up the standards selections under "I am going to learn" under any of the lessons
    -Use the scroll bar to scroll down as far as you can

    I'm developing the document on a Mac OS X system but I have also repro'd the issue on a Windows system.

    Expected Behavior
    I expected the scrolling to go all the way down to the last item on the list.

    Observed behavior
    The scroll only lets you go partway down the list. You can use the arrow keys to continue down…

    Please update Acrobat to the latest patch and check if that resolves the issue. Launch Acrobat > click “check for updates” under Help menu.

  6. When I have 'Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat' DESELECTED, I STILL get an ANNOYING message from Adobe about completing my profile. I DO NOT want to get any message about the Profile!

  7. I don't know how I have protected the file, was not intentionally. How could I reverse it if I don't know the password? I think cause I fill the form in my computer I should be able to reverse do I? Please I need a help with it. tjhanks

  9. It would be greatly appreciated if custom buttons or menu items created in JavaScript be allowed to be added to the toolbars in WebView (Internet Explorer). This used to work in Acrobat and Reader in version 7, 8, 9 and X but now doesn't work :(

  10. Just purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and installed. When I open a pdf and try to merge with another the program says I am only using a trial version???
    When I try to sign in through the program I get a pop-up with terms of use and license agreement but I cannot check the box to agree to the terms and conditions so I cannot sign in...tried to contact them by phone but nobody answers...

  11. Every time I open a pdf from an email, it automatically saves it to the desktop. I then have to delete them and it is difficult finding the latest file...that I didn't want to save in the first place. I want to choose when to save a file.

    You can change folder path via Preferences > Securit y(Enhanced) > Add Folder path.

  13. Every time Pro starts I have to press Shift-F4 before I do anything else.

    Maybe someone has some javascript that can be used at startup to close the pane automatically?

  14. Steps to reproduce the issue:
    1) Cleanly install Windows 7 from good media
    2) Install Adobe Acrobat DC 2015.006.30355
    3) Set Protected View to All Files
    4) Check the box for Enable Enhanced Security
    5) Observe how Protected View works in the Internet Explorer browser as shown in the below screen shot "protected view works".
    6) Turn on Internet Explorer's Enhanced Protected Mode
    7) Observe how protected view does not activate in the browser, as shown in the below screen shot "protected view fails".

    Observed on Windows 7 with Adobe Acrobat DC 2015.006.30355

  15. Hi, Once a receiver has opened a password protected file, it should be possible to remove the password if one wants. I am too sick of this.
    As an example, I get monthly bill from the Mobile operators for just few dollars. The bill needs to be uploaded for claim. Currently I have to take the print the PW protected file first, then scan the printed copy and save it and then again upload it

    Document Open Password cannot be removed unless document editing permissions are given to the password. So ,considering the issue resolved.

  16. Your software has always been terrible, no surprise there. But today I opened the garbage referred to as Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and I encountered something conflicting. It seems as if Acrobat has decided I no longer have a subscription and can't edit pdfs. Clicking on my name in the corner sends me to a web page clearly showing my subscription to Acrobat Pro DC.

    Hi ,

    To keep links in converted pdf, please apply/check motioned setting:
    Launch Visio, got to menu Acrobat→ Preferences. In Acrobat PDFMaker Setting select/check “Add Links” under “Application Setting”.
    Now convert the visio file to pdf and let us know if you face any problem.

  19. This is a recurring problem with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC: When a file is closed in Acrobat (by closing the corresponding tab), the program doesn't not release the file. As a result, the file cannot be renamed or moved until Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is closed. I have attached an image of the error dialog that pops up. This is on Windows.

    Of course, this is a major inconvenience because I have many tabs open and closing Adobe merely to be able to rename a file that's no longer supposed to be open in Adobe is not something that enhances…

    The error here explains that the PDF is opened in Adobe PRO.

    This could be because the file is still writing the changes made in the PDF.

    Could be that the file is opened from a server location/shared servers. And that the change is waiting to commit.

  20. I have MS Surface Book. I draw on screen all the time. I draw on PDFs in free apps. It should be possible in this, very expensive one, don't you think?
