Editing pictures - annoying feature
The object you selected uses transparency and might look different in your editing application. Furthermore, the appearance of the page may change in unexpected ways after this object is edited. Do you want to edit this object anyway?

It was frequently crucial for me to understand how to combine two photos into one for my creative work. On the one hand, it's fairly simple, but only if you're a seasoned designer. Finding all the information I required to achieve it at https://skylum.com/how-to/how-to-merge-two-pictures really helped. It explains how to do it in great detail, step-by-step, and with which software. I believe that is crucial right now. Good fortune.

I’m a pre-press operator and I have to check and edit tons of pictures inside client's PDF all day long.
I right click on the picture and select “EDIT IMAGE”
I get this message:
The object you selected uses transparency and might look different in your editing application.
Furthermore, the appearance of the page may change in unexpected ways after this object is edited. Do you want to edit this object anyway?I have to answer YES a hundred times a day.
What about an option that says:
DO NOT BUG ME ANYMORE WITH THIS MESSAGE, BECAUSE I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I’M DOING! THANK YOU VERY MUCH.Or simply add an option in the preferences to hide this message :)

Additional comment. The answer provided by Anonymous above is baloney. That message has always been a common thing in earlier versions with no problems.
Is that Adobe's disclaimer for ANYTHING that can go wrong?

I am editing multiple page pdf files that were created in several programs. Often, the client asks for us to "fix" photos that are dark. Ordinarily, in the older versions, the whole photo could get selected in the editing mode. Now, they get sliced up into multiple pieces, which negates the possibility of editing them. Now I have to take the whole page into Photoshop and select the photos with the marquee tool to edit. This rasterizes the whole page, ruining any possibility of dealing with the text on the page
