Highlighter Tool should be able to highlight past a page break
The highlighter tool currently stops at a page break. The workaround is to select the text BEFORE highlighting and then pressing the icon to highlight just that text ... but the actual tool should be able to do it as well ... and can't.

Hello Frank ,
Thanks for contacting us.
Regarding this feature request as the comments are associated with a page and in right pane comment list a comment falls under a page accordion so a single highlight cannot spam across page.
When select the text BEFORE highlighting and then pressing the icon to highlight the text you can see that two different highlight comments are added and can be seen in comment list.
Same can be done by adding two highlights separately.
Its as per design.
Thanks and Regards

If this is as per design, it's a pretty poor design. Reviewers can't control where page breaks in the original document occur, but often need to comment on text that crosses a page boundary. Programmatically it should not be difficult to allow highlighting across a page boundary while associating the comment with the page on which the highlighted text begins. This restriction hampers the ability of users to use the tool for its intended purpose, for a purely technical reason that seems like a simple task for an intern to fix.
