A lot of freezes and crashes after opening a pdf
after opening any pdf file as I am scrolling through the pdf the reader will freeze or will directly crash. and it happens regardless of the type or size of the pdf opened.

I have the same issue. The problem is not the computers or the installation it is your software! Please figure out your errors and fix the software.

Same here. I'm using macOS Mojave.
Adobe Acrobat just keeps freezing right after I start the program/open any PDF files these days.
If I'm lucky I will be able to browse a few pages before it freezes but most of the time it just stops responding right away.
Have tried to reinstall a few time but it doesn't help at all. It is really annoying. -

Thanks for reporting the issue.
Please share the following details for investigating the issue further.
1) Crash Dump
2) Acrobat Reader version
3) Operating systemSteps to get Crash dump:
a. When Reader Crashes , Open Windows Task Manager
b. -> Got To Processes, There you can see a process AcroRd32.exe
c. Right Click on this process and click “Create Dump File”
d. Dump file will be created in the Temp folder of user (as specified on the dialog you get after creating dump files).
e. Save this DMP file on any Cloud Storage and Share the link for that with us on mail.Note: There will be 2 AcroRd32.exe processes. Please share dump for both processes.
Steps to know version:
Go to menu Help > About Adobe Reader > A window would pop up. You can share the snapshot of this window with us.Email ID : ajain@adobe.com

Same here, after researching this issue on the net it is clear this is a common issue
If you are able to get through and speak to a person that can think and not read from a script you might get some useful assistance. Good luck
