Please add Bengali language support for OCR

With over 250 million speakers, Bengali is the seventh most spoken native language in the world. Unfortunately there is no Bengali language support for OCR in Adobe Acrobat Pro. It would be extremely helpful for Bengali language community if Bengali is added in OCR. Thank you.

    Does Adobe Acrobat Pro software still support Bengali language OCR?

    With Bangla being the seven most spoken languages in the world it will help ease the tasks of lots of data entry workers. Please consider adding Bangla OCR tools to Adobe.

    bangla is a rich language. many world class classics have been written in this laguage. even there is a nobel lauriate in bangla literature. but the language is neglected by the ocr providing softwares, it is unbearable.

    i would like to request strongly to add the language to adobe acrobat dc pro.

    These American people setup up there offices in India, utilize India's resources and its workforce, and still ignore our own languages --- Adobe does not support any of the Indian languages - such as, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya, etc. - all of which are spoken by millions of people across globe.

    These companies should be punished and/or chased away from India for such a blatant mistakes, as the American Govt has thrown out many of us Indians just because we do not adhere to their style of living.

    Bengali language has multiple authors who are considered of similar caliber of Shakespeare.

    Rabindranath Tagore's Gitanjali brought him Nobel in literature. Adobe can help converting such large collection of high quality literature image scans to text by including that in OCR language support..

    These books are of immense literature value...

    Google has already added support for Bengali keyboard...Need Adobe to setup and this one..

    It is high time Adobe added Bangla language in OCR. As the OP said Adobe should not ignore such a language spoken by more than 400 million people in the world.
