Hi again, I see there text boxes using Edit app -> Add text and the one using Comment App -> text box behave differently. The earlier is rotatable as described by admin but its properties like line color and weight cannot be changed. While the box created from the Comments App you can format the text box but cannot rotate it. Strange!

Yes, Anonymous. This is not resolved yet, counter to the comment 'Resolved' by admin. We do not see the rotation symbol on handles. Also I see different type of handles. And I cannot paste a snapshot here.

I agree with Sami and Tarak. For a text box created by "Add Text Box" or "Add Text Callout", there are no rotation symbols to be found anywhere.

Very frustrating that I can't change the ROTATION feature in "EDIT" to 1%. I'm a graphic designer & don't want to have to import to PS to straighten an image.

That works with some objects yes, but not with the text box I'm referring to.
As mentioned earlier, if I create a text box with "Comment => Add text box" the gripper for rotating is not there.

    Hi,

As I mentioned before, we do have the functionality of rotating the text box, please see the snapshot to see how the rotate icon looks like. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FC2R4q5eYIjn4Po2uAE6vSsAohWi_G0q/view?usp=sharing

    Exact steps:
    1. Go to Edit App
    2. Select the text box you wish to rotate
    3. When you hover over grippers of text box (we have 8 at boundary of text box)
    4. You will get a rotate sign

Use this to rotate a text box.

    Thanks,

I agree with Sami. I do not find any rotation symbol on any of the 8 handles on the boundary when we select text box, may be received one or newly created by us. Also in Edit mode when we select text box, the text box looses the selection if the cursor goes outside the boundary of text box. We have to select it again.

The solution suggested by Charu Maheshwari does not work with text boxes made with "Add text box" -tool (Comment => Add text box).

This was the original problem, so please remove the resolved status.
