redaction
When saving a redacted file, the option to for "redacted" to NOT be added to the end of the file name.

You can change the default name for a redacted file in DC. In preferences->Documents->Redaction section, you can turn off the "Adjust filename when saving applied redaction marks" setting or adjust the naming scheme.

There is not always a need to force a new save file/name.
The file is being appended with additional PDF that need redacting. The original file name is the desired file. There is no need to force or ask to save to a new file.
Currently, I am forced to perform the Save and Overwrite the file.
This is inefficient. -

We have given this option so user do not lose the information of the original file accidentally.
You can always remove _Redacted from the file name while saving
