PDF Thumbnails in PDF Portfolio : Portfolio/ View / Layout
In Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Classic & Acrobat Pro 2017 the PDF icons on the left are quite large in Portfolio / View /Layout . It would be great if PDF Thumbnails could be enabled like in Windows explorer by checking the preference in General . I realise not all file thumbnails for all types of files could easily be created ( example Excel , Word )etc ..but we combine a lot of PDF secured files into a Portfolio & the thumbnail PDF view would really be a great feature in Portfolio/View / Layout

I found out, it is possible to switch back to the former GUI, but then the Thubnails still do not appear. At least the seamless browsing without opening the files separately is available again.

Hi,
I took a great advantage of the PDF Thumbnails in PDF Portfolio, but recently our customers found out that the Thumbnails are not there anymore.
Could you please provide explanation?
Also, it seems to me that a lot of general settings and preferences regarding the PDF Portfolio are gone.
All our customers are used to see the thumbnails and navigate themselves by them. Now, the PDF Portfolio, formerly a very powerful format, is utterly useless.
