Turn off all sound notifications.
Turn off all sound notifications. In an open working environment, it is obnoxious.
Thanks for contacting us.
There are situations when an user prefers to have sound notification.
For your case, the best way to handle is to switch off the speaker of your computer.

This is such and obvious issue to resolve - totally agree with the comments below "turn off the sound" is about as useful as a chocolate fireman and shows contempt for the CUSTOMER

I don't mean to be abrasive but when Adobe responds with "There are situations when a user prefers to have sound notification" the word "prefers" invokes "Preferences," of which Adobe Acrobat provides hundreds for "situations" that some users prefer and others don't. Rather than suggest that a customer turn off their speaker - which essentially says "I don't care about you or your feature request" - why not take the attitude of "that's a good idea, we will add that to our accessibility preferences for Acrobat as soon as we can, or at least give a polite reason for not being constructive.

I want notifications from other apps, just not adobe. I know when I've just converted a word doc to a pdf, I don't need you guys to annoyingly alert me every time..

Why can it not be an OPTION to turn sounds off or on, so that the user can control? It's unacceptable to not be able to control this within the program. I should not have to turn all sound off on my computer.
