Restore "Always show document page size" to Acrobat DC
Please restore this functionality - in XI it was in Edit/Preferences/Page Display. There is no way to know the page size without hovering the mouse in the lower left corner. Odd-size page sizes hang print jobs, wasting time and resources. It was easier to quickly scroll through 100+ pages and look for the oddities. Without this, we have to check every single page.
Thank you!
Hi,
Thanks for your response. Please write us in case you face any issue.

had to revert to old acrobat and the page sizes are still missing, why fix things that aren't broken

@Robin Surface, I have to agree with your take. I can't imagine that this would get through code review, if it was a simple bug. This does feel like a developer making a design decision based on their preference, but not taking into account how professionals use the product on a daily basis.

I don't this was a bug. I think someone had the bright idea to eliminate the page size and the scroll bars to "streamline" the look. Problem is, they forgot about the functionality when they did this. If you make your product unusable, there are going to be complaints and defections. The people doing the updates really need to get a clue about how professionals use their product, and then leave the basic functions alone - as in don't move them, don't change the way you access them and for heaven's sake don't eliminate them!

I am continuously disappointed by this type of bug being introduced by an update. How in the world does an update break current functionality? How does it not get caught during code review? We are forced to pay quite a bit of money for the privilege of using this software, and yet we can't seem to count on updates not breaking current features.

This is so annoying, I work in commercial print and I rely on that document page size every day to check client files!

This has still not been properly resolved. Please restore this option since it continues to be available in Preferences. It's valuable when dealing with multiple files.

Maximillian, if you turn off the preference that says always show document size, it magically makes it appear if you hover the mouse over the left bottom corner. Go figure! It also works the same for showing bleed.

I don't know why I keep updating Adobe software on production machines if an update doesn't promise to fix a specific problem I have. Instead we have to waste time and try to fix issues that worked fine before.
The feature of always display the document size in the left corner seems to broken again since the latest update. -

Mine still doesn't work, and if it is turned on not only does it not always display but moving the mouse to the bottom left corner will not display the size either.
If I turn of always show page size then putting them mouse in the corer will make the size display but what I really want is for it to always display. -

Same here. No page size shown since the last update. No matter if the corresponding box in the settings is checked or not. This sucks! I use this function everday!

Has this been fixed yet? I use the 'display page size' all the time, and even with it checked on it is not showing. I also can't get the marquee tool icon into the tool bar – something I also use all the time. Thanks :)

I have checked the box "always display page size" but it does not display. This is yet another function I used multiple times a day that has been "disappeared" by Adobe's latest update. If there was a software comparable to Acrobat, I would definitely switch! I am so tired of wasting time trying to figure out how to do things every time there's an update!

Adobe needs to keep their hands OFF the software once its on the end users machine; they have no idea how their customers use their product.

Yes - I learned to watch your color scheme; some high-resolution schemes turn the menu bar white-on-white, hiding the entire thing; once I hovered over it, the edit/preferences function was visible. Thanks!

Please tell me specifically where, in Adobe Acrobat DC (not XI!), I can find "Edit>Preferences" as all I see at the top of the screen is Home and Tools. Under Home I have: Recent, Sent, Adobe Scan, My Computer, Document Cloud, and Add Account.
Under the Tools menu, I have a series of choices, none of which are labeled Edit or Preferences. I'll spare you the list.
I have had several people answer this question for me, but it's always for Adobe XI, from which I upgraded to DC yesterday.
Thank you for your time.
