The AcrobatDC plugin for Internet Explorer, the select region function is useless. It displays a box around the region, does nothing with it
Fix the IE plugin "Select" feature. It shows the red line box around a screen region, does not keep the region selected, and then proceeds to make a PDF of the ENTIRE web page, not the chosen region. And it makes the PDF in landscape orientation, with all the menus, footers, headers, and junk we don't need. There seems to be no way to fix this behavior in Acrobat DC.
Hi,
Thanks for your valuable feedback. We have recorded it in our database.

If it's of any help, this is on a Windows 7 system.

No, it doesn't help.
I know very well how the function works or is supposed to work.. I've been using it for years in your many predecessors to Acrobat DC. It does NOT work in DC with IE.

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Navigate to the desired web page.
3. Click the Adobe PDF "Select" button.
4. Use a mouse pointer to highlight and click on the area/region you want to convert to a PDF. The region does NOT remain highlighted. The outline indicating the focus region moves wherever the mouse does. Nothing stays selected. If you click "Convert" to create a PDF, it (after a LONNNNNNG time) creates a PDF of the entire page, and not necessarily in the format/orientation you want it to be, but definitely not including only the area/region you wanted. In other words, it's worse than not even offering the Select function.
