Acrobat now defaults to scroll view.
Acrobat now defaults to scroll view.
Annoying, useless and a backward step from 1 page view.
And no way to changes settings, to use it the way it was.
Since we havent heard back from you for so long, we are closing this thread here.
Please feel free to reach out to us again if issue persists.

Hi,
Really sorry for the issue you're facing. I want to mention that page layout settings are applied at 2 levels. One at pdf level and other at application level. Pdf level setting overrides application level setting. So if in your pdf file, page layout is set, then it will override default page layout setting of Acrobat.
You can see page layout setting at pdf level by following following steps:
1. Open pdf file.
2. Right click on pdf file.
3. Select "Document Properties".
4. Select "Initial View" tab. Check value for "Page Layout".
5. This setting will override application level setting.
Note: If this value is set to 'deafult' then Application level setting (mentioned by Rachit) will be applied.Reiterating how to set Application level setting( mentioend in previous comemnt by Rachit):
Preferences(Ctrl/Command + K) → Page Display → Select Page LayoutIf your pdf level Page Layout setting is set to 'default' and even then your application level settings are not applied, then could you please share video of issue along with pdf file, so that we can triage it? You can send these to me at payadav@adobe.com
Thanks & Regards,

Hello Rachit, it isn't working, every time I open a pdf I need to fit to page manually. It worked fine before the update, my settings are set correctly.
