Please add 'Send and Track' tool back to the Adobe Acrobat DC Pro application.
In the most recent update to Adobe Acrobat, you removed Share & Track tool. I realize this tool has been changed to 'Share' and the original Send and Track is still available via browser. Even so, having Send & Track within the application tools is much more convenient.
Why don't I use the new 'Share' tool? Unfortunately the Share feature does not allow us to send a protected document. It is also very clunky to format a message longer than 5 words with custom subject line.
Bring back Send and Track in the UI please.
Thanks!

OMG!!!! Please put the send multiple files feature back on!!!!! So annoying without it. Found a way around it, through outlook, but, how stupid, it creates a link for every file rather than one for multiple.

i agree. Its a royal pain to send attachment compared to what it used to be before some fool removed the tool to send as attachment. I don't want to share it, I want to send it.

Loved Send and Track. Now I cannot even attach more than one file to the share feature. Completely useless.

I noticed a week or so ago that Adobe has now removed Send and Track completely from Adobe PDF Services. I can't find any documentation on the Adobe website explaining this change.

Hello Pallavi. My original message should have stated that I was disappointed that Adobe removed Send and Track (not Share and Track) from the Acrobat App.
The 'Share' button does not work with protected files. I have saved the files to PDF with password protection limiting editing the file.
Export...
Format > Adobe PDF (Interactive)
Security > Permissions > Use a password to restrict printing, editing and other tasks. When clicking the 'Share' button in Acrobat Pro DC 219.010.20069 I receive the message, "File can't be sent. Protected files can't be sent for review."
Even if it weren't protected, the 'Share' feature is not sufficient for what we liked with Send and Track. We liked how you could send an email directly from Adobe Acrobat including a body message. It automatically created a link and a button for our clients to access the PDF in the document cloud.
Prior to this update, we were actually hoping you would enhance Send & Track within the Acrobat App rather than diminish it. Instead now, we have to go through the extra step of opening a browser and navigating to the Send and Track website.
Further enhancements we were hoping for included sending messages that allowed more characters and even set up custom messages to fill the message body by default. Right now, we copy and paste our default message in.

Hi Teresa,
Apologies for the inconvenience. Could you share with us more details about the protected file that you were sharing since the current Share also supports sharing of protected files. Were you trying to share the file for view/review? Also, was the file having a document open password or other security restrictions as well?
We have forwarded the other issues you are facing to our development team as well and are looking into resolving them.
Thanks,
Pallavi. -

I agree. The Send and Track worked very well and was very clear to my clients which documents they were getting, included our company logo, and was pretty obvious how to download. Using the new "Share" feature has been a pain to set up multiple share files, and I get continuous calls asking how to download the file when they can only seem to preview it. I must explain to clients where to find the tiny little download icon in the top right corner of the screen is.
Overall, I feel the new design is a step back when using "Share" to send documents out for a Tender Request
