We are in 2022 and this is still an issue. The complete disregard of Adobe is a wake up call for everyone to move to another software to sing PDF files or stop using this 90's format once for all.
The issue occured on a Mac based system. The os is up to date, the adobe subscription to creative cloud payed, Acrobat DC is always up to date. It has been uninstalled/ reinstalled ultiple times (each time it does the same issue) and it does fix for 2 or 3 documents to sing then we have to uninstall again... -

For any NetDoc users, NDOffice was the cause of the crashing issue for my company. The newest version of NDOffice, 2.6.0.13558 resolved this issue. Sign & Fill is no longer crashing. Hope this helps any other users.

Since your update of October 18, my DC Pro keeps closing whenever I save a document. The document is saved, but I have to reopen the program. It is slowing down my work considerably

I am having the same issue w/ Adobe Reader DC (2019.012.20040.17853). I just checked for any updates & none are available.
I am using Win10 pro-V.1809 OS build 17763.678.
Every time I open any pdf file, select fill & sign, & select me as who is editing, within a few seconds the program crashes. I have a few users that this is happening to as well.
Is there a fix for this yet? It has been months since I have had users w/ this issue.

Still crashing as of 6/28/19. Both DC reader and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Planning to cancel our licenses soon if this isn't fixed as it's the primary reason we pay for Adobe, and we use it all the time.

Still getting this issue. User has to start working in the PDF signing and has to save every 30 seconds otherwise it crashes.
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2019.012.20034
Win 10 Enterprise Version 1709 OS Build 16299.1146
Surface Pro 3 Tablet has 8GB memory and is only using about 50%. -

I've been struggling with this for months but had have found a trick to stop it happening. When entering text, before typing anything extend the text box using the mouse and cursor, then click back in the text box and start typing. Not what I am paying for but at least I can keep working.

One thing I have found to help sometimes, is that once you open whatever file you're using (if it's a template), do a "save as" and save it into another file or as another name. I find it crashes less, or at least if it crashes, it usually saves what you had done. It isn't perfect, but it's better than ALWAYS losing your work!

Fill and Sign causes immediate crash and ZERO new content is saved. Windows 10, PC.
I purchased the pro version specifically to use the fill and sign function. It is crashing every time I try to add text to my document - there must be a fix for this - please someone direct me to it. -

I am still having the same problem. Any time I go to the edge of the document, or with certain information, like my name. Has this been fixed yet? I really need it to work for my job. I have tried running a repair, uninstalling and reinstalling, and nothing works. We use Windows 10.

Hello,
I use fill and sign normally during my job, and this started to happen where it would infinitely go to the edge, not allowing to X out a choice.
If I let it stay for more then a few seconds, Acrobat crashes and loses all unsaved work.
I have uninstalled it, deleted as many left behind files as I could find, reinstalled it (several times), turned off a lot of prefrences, but none of that helps.

I'm having the same problem with Acrobat Pro DC 2019.010.20098 on Win 10 Pro 1809. This paid service is useless without this feature working correctly, every time.

I'm having a similar problem with Acrobat Pro DC 2019.010.20091 on Win 10 Pro. The crash only appears to occur when filling in certain information. For example, typing in my last name causes a crash every time. It appears that when I start typing in the info Acrobat starts to suggest information from previous form fills, pulls up a large blank suggestion box, and crashes to a full close. It doesn't hang but closes out instantly -- even with task manager open and hovering my mouse the crash and close out occurs too quickly to get a dump file.
Is there a way to edit or clear out the data in Acrobat Pro DC that is used for suggested form fills? That may resolve the problem.
