Acrobat DC crashes hourly Running Mojave
Adobe Acrobat DC is just an awful counter-productive tool now in Mojave. It crashes hourly (if not more often) just doing normal very simple tasks that I would normally be able to do in previous Mac OS. It doesn't matter if Im just reviewing a pdf made by someone else, creating a PDF from INDD, adding notes to a supplied PDF, etc etc etc ... it just constantly crashes. No warning, no error, just crash... program just quits out. So counter productive now its killing us as a company. PLEASE FIX!!!
Hi,
Can you please update to the latest version of Mojave (10.14.2) and see if issue persists ?
Thanks

Having updated to Mac OS 10.14.6 I cannot open existing pdfs or application. Have downloaded newer version of ODF reader as recommended but still not working. What do i do? Access to the pdfs essential.

Distiller seems to be working, but I cannot open a pdf. Ones I have just created, ones that others have, any pdf.

Running Acrobat DC and Mac 10.13.4. It's been crashing for years on various machines and Mac OSs. Seems to crash the most while opening multiple pdfs one after another while using the output preview window and the convert colors window. Hope you guys can fix this issue!

HI Brian,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused at your end. I would like to have the dump for the crash you are observing, Please copy all the text from the window which popups as soon as the crash happens and kindly send it over to me for triage. Also I hope you are using the latest updated Acrobat DC and if not please update and try after that. Please share the link to the file uploaded once done.

Acrobat Pro DC keeps crashing no matter if I open a pdf (any file) or if I start the programme. Right now, the programme is useless. This is unacceptable.

Having the same issues as all the others here: I am not able to use Acrobat Pro DC for anything -- it crashes nearly everytime when I try to open and view a PDF. I can't even try editing because the app crashed. We are paying for this, it should be fixed asap!

I forwarded some of the latest responses here to adobecustomercare@adobe.com because they seem to be very interested in hearing more about the problems I'm having. I get multiple emails a day reminding me that my case is open. When I opened the "case", I told them about this very thread. No one ever acknowledged that this might be a more widespread issue.
I've been able to stop the crashing temporarily by opening Activity Monitor and killing a bunch of Adobe and Acrobat related things that are no longer responding. Stuff like "Adobe Acrobat Synchronizer" whatever that is.
If nothing else, can we move this out of Need Info status? Or at least tell us what other info you need now that everyone has updated to 10.14.5 and are still seeing the issue?
I find it a bit odd that Adobe would be asking me for information that people have been posting here for literally almost all of 2019 so far.

Having major issues with Acrobat DC on a 2014 Mac, on Mojave version 10.14.5. SO frustrating. Every time I send for signature, Adobe spins and crashes.

I have the same problem. I can't even open Acrobat DC without it crashing. I uninstalled every app and the desktop CC app and reinstalled and I still get the error.

I have 2 screens. If I try to drag a window from one to the other Acrobat will crash every time. I would use Preview, but it doesn't show the index down the left side. Running Mojave 10.14.5 on almost new Mac Mini.

Basically, no. I haven't seen any resolution and I've been following this issue for a while. It goes back to at least 2017 and the High Sierra update. I frequently see admins requesting more info or asking people to update this or reinstall that, but as far as I can see, nothing works. :-(
I have been forced to move away from Acrobat to different proofing software altogether. It is EXTREMELY frustrating that Adobe doesn't seem to have a fix for this issue that has been going on for so long.
