Interactive PDF functionality broken after update?
Hi! Since this September update, Interactive PDFs are functioning correctly on Macs. Rollovers don't work, everything is lagging like crazy. Initially I thought it may be an indesign export issue, but opening previously working older interactive PDFs (that worked perfectly) the problem seems to be an Acrobat issue.
This has been tested on a number of different Macs through the studio - iMacs, MacBooks of various builds, years, operating systems and capabilities - all with the same Acrobat version and same problem. Any ideas?

Yes, same here. Acrobat Version 21.005.20058 works with interactive functions on mac, Version 22.001.20112 doesn`t. You see only a grey screen instead the page with the interactive functions. The problem has been known for a while, but unfortunately it is not fixed yet. I find regrettable, because interactive functions should be visible from Indesign to PDF!!! That has to be fix urgently.

The rollover interactivity has been messed up (i.e. not rendering properly) since September. Today, I look at a PDF that I just exported and when I rollover the part with interactivity, the entire PDF blinks out, meaning, it disappears and turns gray until I move my cursor back off the interactive area. Completely unusable. Not just, this component doesn't work, but this entire document is unusable.

We built an extensive interactive form with Adobe Acrobat Pro and when version 22 of Acrobat Reader released and update on all my customer iPads the expensive and important PDF stopped letting most buttons and their actions function (hide, view etc). this is my biggest customer and my position with then is on the line.

Yes! A client asked me to create a new version of an interactive PDF from 2 years ago. Now I am struggling with what to do as I can send PDF with wicked out functionality.

Yes problems here too! Very very terrible problem. Interactive PDFs are now completely unusable... white screen when rolling over any interactive item. FIX THIS NOW PLEASE!

For what it's worth I managed to wind back to a previous version of Acrobat (2021.007) by restoring from Time Machine (2021.2005) and uninstalling 2021.2007. All interactive buttons etc woking fine again. Thanks Adobe for yet another update that goes wrong!!!!!!

I'm having the same issue and you can't go back to a previous version of Acrobat Pro! Using Mac 11.1 and Acrobat 2021.007.20091 - help!
