  1. After a recent update (sometime in April or May 2020), when adding pages to an existing document, whether in "organize pages" or thumbnail view, instead of the page name matching the inserted document, the name takes the same name as the page directly preceeding it. So if I add 25 pages to the end of a file, all new 25 pages have the exact same name as the last page. Definitely a bug, because this did not happen prior to the recent update.

  2. We use Adobe-Pro to review construction plans. there are time when we need to draw a round circle to see what falls in or outside of its perimeter. if we could click the courser at a point on the drawing and then drag the radios out with the proper measurement scale of the drawing

  3. Please include two very important editing features in Acrobat Pro.

Allow a "page setup" type feature, including:
1.) the ability to change the margins of the entire document.
2.) the ability to center text, such as a title, against the page margins, not just within the individual text box.
3.) the ability to align all text in a document within the margins, without having to manually align each and every text box. This is important for documents that have many pages.

Just like the editing features of Microsoft Word, these and other editing capabilities would make Adobe Pro an excellent…

  4. I've noticed if you delete pages from an interactive PDF that has bookmarks, it leaves the bookmarks of the deleted pages in place. Not great for a customer-facing PDF. I don't think those useless bookmarks should stay there, as a default anyway.

  6. Error message: “The XFA form cannot be edited using Adobe Acrobat.”
So I followed the troubleshooting instructions and tried to save the form as Encapsulated PostScript file.
Error message: “An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem.”
I thought I was the person who created the document. Not sure what I should do.

  9. Honestly, I am not sure why I was sent to this area, all I wanted was to get help in drawing a line through a word or text on a PDF document but somehow no one from the technical team was able to help. I thought this would have been a basic feature of Adobe Acrobat, but I guess I was wrong.

  11. Using Acrobat Pro DC is the biggest headache in the world. You have made this 1,000 times more difficult than Adobe Acrobat Pro X. Adobe Acrobat's team seems incapable to thinking intuitively. I want to create a default font, point size and color setting for all pdf documents I edit in Adobe Acrobat DC, but one must do this for each document based on the website help. if someone replies with an apparent 1, 2, 3 step, that is NOT ADEQUATE. The issue: Adobe Acrobat Pro DC's Team does NOT CREATE AN INTUITIVE ONE STEP INTERFACE. One should NEVER TO…

  12. When in Edit PDF we make several changes to texts from multiple consultants. All texted edits made have to be changed to Calibri Lite, then the Height, then to Bold, then the width. Wishing for a Match Property command to minimized selected so many repeated commands.

  13. We create acronym-heavy PDFs at my company. We often create hyperlinks from the acronyms to the acronym list, but a better solution would be a tooltip-style effect where you could hover your cursor over the acronym and have the definition appear. This is done in HTML with the abbr tag and is quite elegant.
I've tried to accomplish this with a transparent button over the acronym and using a tooltip, but this is incredibly laborious and makes the file size explode.
    Thanks!

  15. I have an existing PDF that has a TOC and hyperlinks. I want to be able to prepend multiple pages to the document without changing the page numbering of the original document.

  16. Hi there,

We have an intermittent bug where we have created headers in a document and then later, when we go to adjust that header (say it is in the upper left corner of the document), it causes the information/text to the right of it to just 'disappear'.

  17. I have to price hundreds of work orders. Centering the columns at the end is a snap, but every row has to be manually adjusted to make them look professional.

Could there not be an easier / quicker way to have them center between the lines automatically??

  18. When editing text fields to use as fillable on a PDF, under "Properties" you can change the font, the font size, and the text color. Give options to make the text bold, italics, underlined. Those options do not exist and they should.

  20. I am a medical student and i read a lot of medical books in adobe reader. Each book is around 1 GB. I read in my ipad or iphone while travel or when im at ward. When i am at my room i read from my mac pro or macbook. If i need to synchronise the highlighted/underlined/annotated portions of any pdf accross all those devices, the entire pdf need to be synced which accounts to a huge amount of data per day. It is better if there is an option to synchronise annotations alone.
