  1. Please allow us to make our own 'inner margins' for textboxes when we create fillable PDF forms... the automatic margins you've set inside the textbox option are not useful and deletes our ability to collect as much information as possible on our forms... please stop 'dumbing down' your product. :) thank you

  4. When a valid date is entered using a format different from the format specified by the form date field, Acrobat automatically converts this to the specified format on-screen. However the saved data remains in the originally-entered (incorrect) format.

Example: Field Name: "DateOfBirth" Format: mm/dd/yyyy

Entered: "12 Aug 2002" Form displays: "08/12/2002" following entry

It APPEARS the date was converted to the specified format.

Export Data saves this as: ... <</T(DateOfBirth)/V(12 Aug 2002)>> ...

This indicates the original entry was saved, not the converted date.

This SHOULD be saved as: ... <</T(DateOfBirth)/V(03/12/2002)>> ...

When returning to the DateOfBirth field the display…

  5. We created a PDF form with headers. The data that the users enter in the header fields are not getting propagated to the header on the other pages.
We are able to see that the headers work fine when viewed/edited through EDGE browser & Chrome browsers. Screenshots of these are attached below.

  9. When creating a form that has many field that need to be formatted as "Number" I'd like to be able to select many fields at once and apply the number format property. I cannot do that now and it requires a lot of extra steps.

  10. https://github.com/adobe/pdf-embed-api-samples is basically UNUSABLE.....when you have two checkboxes ( yes and no ) ... you give them both the same name and have different 'export' values so they act like radio buttons...check one, the other un-checks....however, in this API, when you check one....all checkboxes with the same name also check.....UNUSABLE....how did this get by QA?

  14. I'm editing 2 different PDF forms, last years an internal PDF form created from external source pdf and this years external source PDF with changes converted to a PDF form.

    1. I can't open the 2 forms in separate instances of PDF form editor, or at least it is not ready apparent on how to do this.
    2. Being that I'm unable to open the forms in 2 separate instances, I open both PDFs in same instance and pull one of the tabs to another monitor. 2a. Each time I click on the properties menu item, the dialog box is shared by…

  15. Adobe Prepare forms should be able to read the fields created in Microsoft Word using the developer tool for content controls. Currently Adobe prepare form does not recognize the fields from a developed Word document and this prevents creating a fillable form as advertised for the current Adobe Pro DC product.

  17. Adobe should have a selection of basic template similar to those Microsoft has (or had). Suggestions include basic business forms, cards, and calendars. I thought Adobe already had these but was told by a chat person that you do not. They said I needed to make my own. Thanks for considering this.

  18. When I created a form in Excel, and tried to Convert to PDF, the borders around the cells show up as various weights. Please add a tool that can make the weights uniform.

  19. Please allow form padding options/properties for form fields. The top margin padding is too much and can't be adjusted. There are no options for left/right padding. This is especially problematic when autocreating form fields where you have large text boxes created to match borders you designed in the template. The form fields created expand to the borders and so the text is right up against the side borders.

  20. Adobe Pro needs to have a feature to create expandable drop down lists. I have seen it in other products, but it fits well with the PDF Pro.

I would like to be able to create easy drop down check lists, divided by topic, so the user can expand the form in the areas they need. This will reduce time for the customer to have to scroll through the document to find what they are looking for and will increase the functionality of the document.

I would like it to contain a plus box and minus box, so people can…
