User Interface is NOT user friendly
I have had Adobe Acrobat Pro for years and have just changed to Adobe Acrobat Pro within Creative Cloud.
I am thoroughly frustrated with the screen layout.
There is a toolbar OVER the top of the document area. There is a huge blank space at the top of the page that COULD be used to show menu items such as Search - but it is just a big blank. Ditto the right hand side of the screen.
Overall, far too much screen space has been wasted. Menus "hidden" by having to select various tabs. This has NOT been designed with…

Quick access tool bar icons in COLOR
The quick tool icons were changed after Acrobat X during the overhaul of Acrobat's UI to DC and beyond. One of them was to make the tools in the quick access all GRAY, and eliminate their COLOR unil the pointer hovers over it.
This was a terrible decision and backwards step from a usability standpoint. Humans interact in their environment by perceiving things in color, lots of colors, and rely on color to understand and navigate the world. While shape outlines are one point of information to understand what a thing is, color adds considerable information to that mental processing…

Adobe makes the top bar with 'File Edit, View, E-Sign, Window, Help disappear.
Adobe makes the top bar with 'File Edit, View, E-Sign, Window, Help disappear.
I have to keep hitting F9 to make it return. Please stop it. I want those choices to stay put on the screen. When the bar disappears, I can't move the window to a new location on the desktop. Hitting F9 is constantly a burden while having Adobe open, and it does not always work consistently.5 votes -
Display both book page number and physical page number, please!
The latest update no longer shows both the page label (book page number) and physical page number, only the physical page number. Can you please change this back to the way it was before? I work in book publishing, and now it's difficult to see which page of the book I'm viewing.

Page thumbnail navigation reverts to top when you return to doc
If I have 2 docs open and I have scrolled down the list of thumbnails in the thumbnail navigation pane, then switch to the other acrobat doc, then return to the first doc, it now displays the beginning of the thumbnail list and I have to scroll back to where I was every time I return to that document.

important buttons in notification corner
How about moving all of the buttons with useful features out of the bottom right corner? I'm not sure how this is a surprise but when I receive a notification, email, TEAMS message, update message, every single one of them obscures all the buttons that have been inexplicably placed in one of the only high-traffic corners of a screen when using an application.

Restoring PDF Portfolio Functionality in the New UI: Addressing Browsing Issues and Thumbnail Display
I would like to report a significant issue that has arisen with the latest update, particularly affecting the display and functionality of PDF Portfolios. Formerly, these portfolios showcased thumbnails that provided a visual preview of the contents, enhancing navigation and user experience. However, these thumbnails are now missing, replaced by a mere list format that significantly diminishes the portfolio's usability and aesthetic appeal.
Upon switching to the old UI, hoping to regain the lost functionality, I observed that while the thumbnail pane reappears on the left side, it only displays PDF icons instead of the actual thumbnails. This change not…

Nesting Bookmarks Bug
There seems to be a problem with creating new bookmarks. I'm nesting the bookmarks as I create them in order to keep myself organized, considering this PDF is almost 800 pages long. I'm finding that if I nest my most-recently-created bookmark under another one, all future bookmarks I create are also nested under the same bookmark.
However, once I wish to move one of these newly-created bookmarks to the root level, that is to un-nest them, the only way I can do so is to move them to the top of the list. Even if I try to un-nest them…

Enable user to hide the "Tools" menu in preferences
It takes up so much room and I want to see my document not a menu I'm not going to use.

UI/UX from Stone Age
This app is ridiculously dumb and overly complicated. Look at the webapps on the internet. Do you even have designers? Although I understand, you are a very small company with no profits and composed of -5 employees.
You have the worst UI for a company that focuses on "design" :> hilarious. your designers should try stand-up comedy.

Side bar and other rants
Not being able to move the side bar to the top is ridiculous. Just a terrible layout that is not productive. Good software is written to be highly customizable, not locking the user into what you think is best.

Get rid of all the visual clutter on the interface.
The interface is way too cluttered. The top "toolbar" with "Home" and "Tools" and a feedback button is completely unnecessary. Stick those functions in the Mac Menu Bar and free up my screen real estate.

Tabs design mistake
Tabs have an empty area above them, meaning you can't take the mouse all the way to the top of the screen to quickly select a tab.

Not a Fan of the New Interface
I "critically" agree with some of the prior assessments I have read in the flow here. I think the comment from the user that "HATE"s the new interface is the best summary of the issue. While I doubt that the change was arbitrary, because companies rarely do things on a whim, I certainly don't agree with pushing a change for everyone. If the menu positioning is something people want flexibility with, then make this a user-controlled setting. Right now, flipping the prior configuration makes little sense, if only because the traditional layout has been the standard for a while and…

Document cloud
Brief description of the use case:
starting from Adobe Document cloud in a SharePoint online environment I click on the "Desktop" button to open a PDF file in Adobe Reader.
A selection window appears where i can start Acrobat Reader or download & install the app.
The download button is highlighted in blue, and encourages me to be the better choice.Error indication:
The application is already installed by 100% of users. Due to a lack of permission on the desktop, Acrobat Reader cannot be downloaded and installed again.Feature request:
- Is it possible to remove this selection window…2 votes -
Searches
Return back to prev search tools, especially new window with search results listed. And provide user choice tools on the toolbar across top.
I spend so much more time trying to use newest ver. that I am looking for a better pdf reader solution...you screwed up the most useful tools.4 votes -
save as dialog
Improvements for Save As... dialogue:
- extend recent folder from 5 to ... in options (5 locations is not enough for me)
- add Nextcloud as a cloud service provider (API's are available)
- add an option to disable the Adobe "extra" save as... dialogue as the default Windows Shell save window has way more functionality (more bookmarks and direct access to cloud or network folders not supported by adobe.

I totally dislike the new design. I don't like the tool bar down the side. It's terrible. I can click on what I need. It's too far down.
I feel like my hands are tied behind my back. I can't navigate the new design of the tool bar down the side. Let me have my tool bar back at the top
