  1. When I enter text comments (comment --> add text comment), I can type onto the page as usual, but when I click away the comment becomes grayed out or transparent, so it is difficult to read without clicking back on the comment. I have explored all settings and have not been able to turn this off. I would like to have my text comments remain full color.

  2. Behavior is on Windows 7 | Acrobat Pro XI version 11.0.23

When running OCR (English and Italian) previous drawing markups (Free Form Tool) and highlights are corrupted. Free forms were rotated 90 degrees and translated, while highlights were moved up about 2.5 lines. I attached a word document with screenshots of the behavior. This behavior messed up highlighting work by a professor at Indiana University.

  3. Every time I open a PDF/A compliant document, a toolbar message shows up (see attachment). The only way to close it is by clicking on "Enable Editing," to which you are warned about its consequences.

It would be great if I could close it without Enabling Editing. It would be even better if this message only showed up if I tried to edit the document in first place.

  4. There should be an Selection Cursor (Black Arrow) tool like all other adobe programs in comment mode.

Right now if I am in text tool in comment mode. It is almost impossible to select the box to move it.

Like all other adobe programs, create a black arrow selection tool, which can also be triggered by holding command key.

No actionable information from user. CLosing the thread.

  7. I have a ten page pdf. this document has about a dozen comments scattered on six different pages. In Acrobat Pro DC, there is no way to get all the comments to print out to one page (or more for a lot of comments), with each comment including the document page number of the comment. The default options will print the comments page by page, which seems a waste. In the example sited Acrobat would print out six pages to show what amounts to one-half a page of text.

  8. Adobe Acrobat Pro crashes often when scanning. This is an inherent problem with Adobe that they need to fix as I upgraded to newer version to avoid this and the problem is just as prevalent.

  13. It would be very helpful if Acrobat Pro were to have a format painter feature like Microsoft's. As it is, one has to go through all the form fields and change them manually one at a time after Auto doesn't deliver what is desired.

  14. eye tracking tool is used in cameras. if user agree to be tracked, document can be linked to camera of laptop or tablet or mobile phone. so document reading becomes more interactive. this information is stored in the document and this tracking info can be tagged to document and emailed to acrobat document creator (teacher). who can analyze this data, will determine that you have read the document or not, where you felt the difficulty and it will help him to plan the lesson/ flipped class room session. it can be used for assessment of learning in e-learning session. this…

  15. When editing a photo in a newsletter for example, I only want to edit the photo, by using photoshop, only to have text recognition mess up the text from a clipping on the same page. So there's no way, or extra steps needed to fix a page and then we receive complaints from clients, because we didn't catch it. This was rarely the case with older versions. I'm sure you're aware of this. WHEN are you going to give us back out old editing capabilities?

  16. I am going through the process of combining multiple PDF's into one using the same process I've always used and for some reason, all I get is the right number of documents, but they are all duplicates of the first file on the list. Any suggestions?

  17. Font Size in Fillable Forms Text Box should have no limitation for size. Currently the limitation font size is 300pt and I constantly create Signs and Banners that use fonts size bigger that 300pt.
If you are a designer that create big designs vote for this idea!

  18. It would be really great to open documents with much larger thumbnails, similar to how Apple's Pages software shows them.

I download a PDF of a daily newspaper, which often has nearly 200 pages. I'm only interested in a couple of sections, so I like to quickly scan the thumbnails.

    • Currently I can increase the thumbnail size, but it's a multi-step process that needs to be repeated several times.

    • Enlarged thumbnails display text in a rough, jagged way, it should be much smoother.

    • When scrolling thumbnails with a mouse, enlarged thumbnails float horizontally in a really annoying way. I'd like…

  19. We will be receiving hundreds to thousands of pdf reports daily. Each report will have anywhere from 1 page to 250,000 pages, and we need to quickly identify the total page count for each report.

Originally we thought we might have to open each report and read the page number on the last page. However, we realized that the page number may not always be accurate.

We know that when you manually open a PDF, it gives you the adobe page count on the top left. So, we’d like to know how we can automate and use that instead.
