Disable mouse wheel zooming
I have to disable ourselves wheel zooming every time I launch Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2020.012.20041. The program seems to "remember" most user preferences but not this one. It is frustrating.

was working on v.10.1.14 - it was easy to use, clean interface, didn't take pressing many buttons to do common tasks. current version a pain to use, just like MS Office, you have taken an excellent product and made it clunky and awkward, a real shame

The previous and next page buttons shift as you change pages. Please make these stationary so that scrolling through a document is not a pain.

Redesign "insert" vs. "extract" icons on buttons
Dear Adobe:
Please redesign the icon graphic for the "insert page" button in Acrobat. Right now, the icon looks too similar to the "extract page" icon, and does not seem to match the action that it causes. This is confusing and makes the software less intuitive.
The "insert page" icon shows an arrow that originates in the center of a single page and points outside of that page. This suggests that something is being taken OUT of the page/document, when in fact the "insert" action is exactly the opposite. In other words, the arrow should originate from outside of the…

Remove buttons on (left) Navigation Pane
It is very easy to add buttons to left Navigation pane. However, you cannot remove individual buttons.
The only option is to Reset the pane returning the three original buttons (thumbnails, bookmarks, attachments).
It seems there should be a way to remove individual buttons at will (not just reset).
Thank you

New cloud share icons are taking up prime real estate
I want to remove the new share icons that were added with the DC cloud app. They are taking up prime menu bar real estate and I need that space for my quick access tools. I also wish Adobe would program size options for the menu bar icons so I can choose smaller icons in order to have more of them fit in the greatly reduced menu bar that you've given us.

Revert UI back to Acrobat Pro layout
No basic functionality in the top menu (Reduce File, etc.), no immediate access to a Marquee Zoom tool because the tool bar has to be opened in a separate tab every time I open a file before I can use them. I'm shocked that Adobe is still pushing on with this awful excuse for a UI. It's convoluted and a waste of user time, let alone visually inconsistent with all other Adobe products. Lots of user complaints relating to the same issues but, as usual, Adobe don't appear to want to fix it, just carry on shoe-horning what they think…

Spell check
Given that this product will cost about $624 a year after I graduate, I feel the need to add a voice to some critical thoughts of how this will help me grow my business. One way will be to maybe incorporate some means of grammatical and spelling checker to the software. It has become increasingly hard to find programs that work together. Even though copying and pasting from separate programs, we run into the problems of something not being appropriately transferred or some punctuation not recognized. If I may make a recommendation, Grammarly, or Microsft word integration into the program…

If I select 'Enable scrolling' in Acrobat, why not remember that between runs?
It's a bit repetitious to have to re-select View->Page display->Enable scrolling every time I open a file.

tabs
Hi,
On Windows, suppose if i have 4 tabs open on Acrobat Pro DC, when i navigate my arrow on the Acrobat icon on the task bar, it shows 4 different windows preview of the tabs open. This looks really messy when lots of tabs are open. This also prevents me from doing one click to minimise and one click to maximise window because when i click on the acrobat icon on task bar it shows me preview window of tab and i have to click again. On Chrome or firefox, even if i have 50 tabs open, when i…

Text menus- not hieroglyphics please.
Text menus should be an option in preferences. Your non-standard hieroglyphics just aren't working for me and I've been using this version for about a year- if I could go back to version nine I would in a heartbeat. You still have the File, Edit, View, Window, Help text menus (don't you dare!). Why not have the other important functions in another text row underneath?

preferences>general dialogue box too large
When I go to change the preferences > general, the dialogue box is too large, and i cannot access the cancel or okay button. I either have to change my display resolution to make it show in its entirety on the screen, or i have to tab, tab, tab to 'hopefully' get to the button to select it, without seeing it. All other dialogue boxes to the other sections seem to resize perfectly, utilizing a second or third column of text, i.e.Preferences> Page Display. Fortunately, this issue with the General section seems to be the only one.

"Expected a dict object." when using an invalid PDF with the Compare Files tool
I was trying to use the Compare Files tool with two PDFs, but when I clicked "Compare" I was prompted with this error "Expected a dict object." (See
CleanShot 2020-09-17 at 16.16.02) Afterward the Acrobat application ceased to function normally and I had to restart. After attempting to open one of the files, it became clear that the PDF was damaged in some way. I'm not able to attach the damaged PDF here, but I'm sure it's easy to find one to reproduce the error.A more helpful error message in the Compare Files tool would be one that…

Make CTRL+Q obey "Prompt when closing multiple tabs" setting
At the moment it seems that the "Prompt when closing multiple tabs" setting ONLY applies to the action of closing a a window using the X button.
It would be much less frustrating when you accidentally hit CTRL+Q (when trying ti actually hit CTRL+W) if Adobe at least gave you a prompt before closing everything.

DC Pro ctrl+a functionality
When DC Pro is set to single page display (scrolling is easier/more precise) ctrl+a only selects the current page
Adobe say this is not a bug, but I believe it is because ctrl+a should select all, not just the page being viewed
As this basic functionality is altered by a simple setting it is a bug
So they suggested making a feature request
Please make DC Pro select all (not just the current page) when the select all shortcut is used while in single page mode

macOS Metal API integration
The speed of opening and navigating PDFs is very slow on macOS. Using the Metal graphics API to boost performance would be great. Comparing the speed at which Readdle's PDF Expert opens and navigates PDFs to that of Acrobat's shows that improvements can be made to the speed of rendering PDFs.
